That should tell you something, shouldn't it? Have you considered the possibility I am right about this too? Have you considered the possibility I wrote a Master's Thesis on the subject? (Because I was taught the nonsense too, and a seminary professor challenged me to study it and write the thesis on the subject.) Have you ever considered the possibility that I have been studying this subject since you were in diapers? Have you ever considered the possibility that an in-depth exegetical study of the subject will give more information than a Sunday School lesson or a Sunday Evening sermon?
Abraham had faith in Christ the Messiah.
Rom 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Did He have the Son or have you given a different way to Heaven?
Yes, and the proof of that payment, the blood of Christ, was/is/will be on the Heavenly Mercy Seat.
There is only One way to Heaven. Christ the Messiah, Who Abraham had.
He did not ever hear of Christ or Messiah. He only believe what God told him.

I have been studying the bible for over 65 years, and studying this specific issue since I first heard of it in Sunday School in 1959.
It would be arrogant for me to think I was in Seminary to teach the professors. I was there to learn from them.
I had a few students like that over the years. They thought they knew more about the subject I was teaching than I did. Usually one simple question would shut them up and cause them to think, "Are you here to teach or to learn?" That usually worked.
So Acts is just one big lie?
