There are no stupid questions when it comes to possibilities and science. The fact is, truth is often stranger than fiction. For instance:

While Media Mocks Trump for Suggesting Light Treatment for Coronavirus Patients, Bio-Tech Company Working With FDA and Cedars-Sinai on UV Light Treatment to Kill the Virus in Patients

We don't need to become question Nazis, especially now. Lay it out there.
I think we differ on the possibilities of science.

That you believe putting sanitizers in our blood and beaming light in our bodies is a good scientific start demonstrates where we part.

I saw that interview and he did not come across as being sarcastic. My thought was "Then you be the first to volunteer." Of course a remark like that from the president may make some idiot to take his advice. What a no brainer Trump is.

...That you believe putting sanitizers in our blood.....

LOL! I knew you couldn't hide it long. Bush supporters. Bitter 'til the end.

"Uh, yeah, I like Trump, I just disagree we should shoot up sanitizer..."

Phonies will always reveal themselves.

@Calminian,

You actually may have a point.

How much money do you think should go into researching putting sanitizers in our blood and beaming light into our bodies to combat COVID-19?

I do not understand your comment.

Yes, I supported President Bush and I support President Trump. Both advocate a platform I support (especially President Trump).

What does that have to do with anything?

Or were you just talking to fill a gap?

I do not understand your comment.

Yes, I supported President Bush...

You said Bush was your favorite of all time. Red flag. Then, while saying you liked Trump, you accused him of suggesting sanitizer injections.

Yes, you understand my comment. I saw you coming from a mile away. Thanks for taking off the mask (though probably by accident).

Generally speaking, those who don't like Trump will say he wants to inject bleach in people. Those who like him or in indifferent, will yawn.

No. The President himself was tossing around the stupid ideas not people that dislike him. Let’s not get twisted.

Buddy if that’s TDS then tough luck. You’d be hard pressed to find any sound judgment in that rambling nonsense.

Maybe try to not to be so sensitive?
 Really, at first it sounded like you were admitting to your rambling nonsense, since it tends to accompany TDS, which you do seem to be admitting to. Oh, well, better luck next time. :Frown

Bush was. President Trump is gearing up to take that spot.

I did not accuse Trump of anything. He asked if the researchers could explore putting sanitizers in our blood and beaming light into our bodies to kill COVID-19.

That is a fact, not an accusation. That is what he said in the briefing when they discussed sanitizers and how the virus could be destroyed on surfaces.

Do not let your political ideologies (which we share) make you one of the sheeple. Or is it too late?

I'm just glad you shared the Bush angle. And no, Trump did not suggest injecting over the counter sanitizers into the blood. In fact, he said he was asking the question sarcastically. Those are the facts. You're simply trolling.

Yep, interesting.

While they are mocking Trump for suggesting light therapy, bio-tech firm Aytu BioScience announced they are partnering with the FDA and Cedars-Sinai on a UV light treatment to kill the coronavirus in intubated patients.

No. It was not sarcasm (if it was then Trump has a touch of evil). He asked a question of his experts.

Obviously you did not watch the briefing.

Was this picked up by the media? I watched Trump but have not seen the news (and probably will not be able to until Sunday).

I think it is obvious you are one of the sheeple. Follow your leader blindly. I will follow him knowingly.

I have seen no reports (I was going off Trumps briefing). Is the media capitalizing on his comments? If so, can you provide a link?

I am responding because I thought the comments stupid as they were being spoken. The only commentary and spin I have seen has been @Calminian.

In the briefing it obviously was not sarcasm (if he was not asking it was sadistic, but not sarcasm). I don't know what happened after that.

Now you're calling Trump a liar. CNN is doing the same thing right now.

But thanks for your support. I'm sure he's still your all time favorite President.
No. I am saying I saw the briefing and only an utter fool would think his comments were sarcasm. If it was sarcasm then it was even more damming and inappropriate given the course of the briefing (it was not addressing the media but talking with his experts).

I have not seen anything about this issue except your worship-like defense of any comment not supporting what he said.

I saw his briefing and then left (I have seen nothing since that time, been on the Savannah River).

He is actually my favorite President, but I cannot say "all time" until hopefully his next term is over.

But I am not one of you sheeple. I do not like Democrat, Republican, or Independent sheeple. I believe they are willfully ignorant fools.

I know what President Trump said and the context. If it was sarcasm then he probably needs to be removed from office. I do not believe it was.
