Do All Dogs Go To Heaven?

You side-stepped the issue quite well by saying there will be animals in heaven just NOT those we have cared for and loved in this lifetime. I do not agree with that any more then I agree that certain gifts of the Spirit were ended in Acts. Now, I am sure you will vehemently disagree and wow us with your understanding of scripture, but, I think the following link is fairly clear, and provides good basis to put your one scripture to shame;
Do Animals or Pets Go To Heaven? A Biblical Analysis

And here is the bottom line of the article you cited. Totally agrees with TC's position.

The Conclusion

Upon examining the scriptures we just don’t have biblical support to say this with certainty whether or not our pets will be in heaven, however it does appear that animals will exist in the Kingdom of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9). If our pets will be resurrected or not, we just cannot say for sure.

There is no need to wonder since heaven will not be our home for eternity. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Scripture Aldo says all of creation awaits redemption. We will be here in eternity with animals such as dogs, cats, horses etc. will there be passed pets? Not likely for reasons Cassidy already showed.

Just throwing this out there but maybe animals have some sort of soul sleep in the grave, whereas when we die we go to the Lord. The verse doesn't exclude that but I've never really thought about it.
