Your reasoning is off. It means that the Godhead consists of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You're confusing "equal" with "the same". A husband and wife are equal, but are not the same. Being of spiritial headship (as the Father is to the Son) does not imply inequality. A husband is spiritual head of the wife, but the husband and wife are not unequal, because they are one flesh. Likewise, the Father's headship does not in any way suggest that the Father, Son, and Spirit are not equal.Incidentally, Trinity states that the Son and the Father are coequal.
Of course why do you ask?Do Baptists believe in the Trinity?

I was just wondering. Sorry I posted in the wrong forum.
Incidentally, Trinity states that the Son and the Father are coequal. To disprove that:
1 Cor 11:3
"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God." KJV
"But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God." RSV
"and I wish you to know that of every man the head is the Christ, and the head of a woman is the husband, and the head of Christ is God." Young
Head - Gr. kaphale
metaph. anything supreme, chief, prominent
a) of persons, master lord: of a husband in relation to his wife
b) of Christ: the Lord of the husband and of the Church
c) of things: the corner stone
Vine's:
"metaphorically, of the authority or direction of God in relation to Christ, of Christ in relation to believing men, of the husband in relation to the wife, 1Cr 11:3"
Man has authority over woman (Gen 3:16). Christ has authority over man (Heb 2:8). God has authority over Christ (1 Cor 11:3).
Thus, they are not equal and the Trinity is false.
If St. Nicolas were here, he'd punch you in the face, just as he did to the heretic Arius in 325AD!Incidentally, Trinity states that the Son and the Father are coequal...Thus, they are not equal and the Trinity is false.
The bishop of Myra? That Jolly ole Saint? If St. Nicolas were here, he'd punch you in the face, just as he did to the heretic Arius in 325AD!
This shouldn't even be up for discussion...You'll be banned before the end of the day...

This was predicted in scripture:"Ho, ho, ho! Arius has been a naughty boy this year, so no presents for him!"
