You are out of touch with the theory that transexuals and homosexuals follow. From their perspective, the perception of one's sexual preference is set in stone, at conception. Therefore there is no conversion, but there is open acceptance of what is set in stone. Now, as a Christian, we can acknowledge that our human nature is, at conception, born in sin, under the curse. If there are natural sexual preferences, they are corrupted by our sin nature. Thus, if you are attracted to the same sex or feel like you are a different sex, this is due to our corrupt nature. If one is attracted to the opposite sex, that attraction is still corrupt due to our sin nature. Therefore, as Christians, we must subject our attractions to Christ and His command for sexual behavior.

If one is not a Christian, it will seem foolish to them that our nature is corrupt. They will think it is perfect and will argue such.

So, no, they are not trying to "convert" your children.

And no, I am not naive.

I think you misunderstand me.
I laid out the argument coming from the LGBTQ community that our nature is pure.
Then I laid out the argument from scripture, expressing that our nature is corrupt. We observe corruption everyday in ourselves, let alone in others. We have to kill our sin, daily.,as Christians, but the unsaved have no capacity to kill their sin. Their wrestle with demons is lost every time. This is why I have compassion on them rather than disdain. They are bound in sins dread sway and but by the grace of God go you and I.
God has our children in the palm of his hand. We protect them from evil as much as we can, but then we rest in God's protection over their lives. I pray for my transgender and gay friends who don't know the love of God and have yet to experience God's grace in their life.
May we stop being fear filled, which is actually faith less, and start being compassionate to people bound in sin.

Who, exactly is grooming your specific children?
There are a thousand things this world bombards humans with, everyday. Which one is grooming your children? Will you hide your children and not let them out of the bunker, or will you do your job to train up your children and then watch them be warriors in the Kingdom? Honestly, picking a random event in one place and them making it the universal behavior everywhere is a great example of being fear filled and faith less.

My children have, to the best of my knowledge, never been exposed to sexual abuse.
We talked about a pedophile in the neighborhood who ended up committing suicide when his sins were found out. I taught them to recognize godless behavior and report it.
What I didn't do was cower in fear and I didn't let fear bring me to hate.

Until a person is actually caught and proven to be breaking the law and exploiting minors, you cannot declare that they are "grooming" your children.

What I take from this is that there is no specific person or group of persons presently trying to groom your children toward deviant sexual behavior. But, you are afraid there might be so therefore you will read these radical stories and imagine they are common.
As parents, we have a responsibility to groom our children to worship Christ and not fall in to sin. This is what I have done. I never once worried about what might happen to my children because we talk and enjoy being together as a family. I just haven't lived in fear.
I recall a missionary family who ministered in the red light district of Amsterdam talking about the relationships they were building with prostitutes. They mentioned one prostitute who they were such good friends with that they asked her to babysit their children. Do you worry she might be "grooming" those children?
