What I take from this is that there is no specific person or group of persons presently trying to groom your children toward deviant sexual behavior. But, you are afraid there might be so therefore you will read these radical stories and imagine they are common.
As parents, we have a responsibility to groom our children to worship Christ and not fall in to sin. This is what I have done. I never once worried about what might happen to my children because we talk and enjoy being together as a family. I just haven't lived in fear.
I recall a missionary family who ministered in the red light district of Amsterdam talking about the relationships they were building with prostitutes. They mentioned one prostitute who they were such good friends with that they asked her to babysit their children. Do you worry she might be "grooming" those children?
I suggest people here at the BB stop reading fear mongering websites or watching fear mongering tv shows.

I support home schooling so if you home school, great. If you send to public school, you are still responsible to train your children in the word of God.

It's already beginning to make its way into rural Kansas - I'd hate to see how bad it is in progressive states. It is quite disturbing how prayer is banned in School, but having degenerates come read stories to your children in school is not only acceptable but garners the praise of the world.
As a Christian to turn a blind eye is to let it get worse, sort of like how God was removed from American society, and all sorts of wickedness filled its place. It is rather embarrassing for American Christians when Lot took more of a stand than many of us do.

The Spirit explicitly sent Phillip to bear witness to the Ethiopian eunuch (who was not allowed in the Temple) and he received grace. We need to lead with grace and direct those persons into discipleship to Jesus.

There may well be differences of opinion as to the best way to do that, but mocking people as ‘trannies’ is obviously not the right thing to do as a Christian.

Due to sexual, physical, emotional abuse from my mother, and other adults and a father who was never truly there for me, this was the cause why I desired to be a completely different person, I rejected who I was born as, and living in the homosexual life for many years, my only friends were also men who did drag, and desired to change their sex all because they had very sad family lives.....so much abuse....

What Christians or disciples of the Lord need to understand, that ALL sin is sin and there is no difference in the Lord's eyes.
I have met so many "Christians" who have felt they were better than me, more "righteous" and were very much "spiritual bullies' with no understanding or compassion towards' those who were so "depraved". Look at what the attitude was with "Anita Bryant" and the "Moral Majority" group, there hateful and unChrist like actions and words caused the murder's of homosexual persons. Do wonder why the homosexual's are trying to take over, back in the 60's and 70's they were fearful for their lives due to the attitudes of so called "Christians".

I Praise the Lord for His saving Power Grace which the Holy Spirit granted to me some 44 years ago. I can tell you what Hell I have gone through for the Lord to undue all the sickening abuses done to me as a toddler and teenager, and my personality disorders due to those sickening trespasses done against me. Remember the poor man with the 1000 demon's, no one desired to be near him let alone assist him, however the Love of Christ sought that poor depraved man, without the man seeking him, and the Lord delivered his from ALL his demon's, and the man sat at the Lord's feet, clothed in garments, he was set free, and it was for a purpose, to proclaim what the Love of God and the Grace of the Lord can do for such depraved and lowly beings! Because I was one of them, and I can have compassion and understanding what many in the Homosexual life goes through, and it is a very lonely, dark, and for many a depraved life........it takes one to know one, and understand.....

We need to let the Lord above deal with all our self-righteous prides, and religious idols, and when we can realize and know what worms, and specks of dust we are as Job, Jeremiah and so many other's experienced when comparing their lives to the Beauty of His Holiness...which is nothing but unadulterated Righteousness and Grace, well then we can understand how to be "sick with Love" towards the Lord who truly knows what Holy Love is towards a dying humanity.....

All sin is brought upon us by the curse and by demonic influence. Don't imagine that you haven't been demonically influenced today, sbw.
When people are spiritually dead in sin, they will openly act according to their sin nature. We who have been redeemed by God's gracious mercy, would be doing the same things if God did not intervene on our behalf.
I work with a number of homosexuals and transexual people. While I do not understand their attractions, I still love them as created image bearers who are cursed by the fall. I find, like all humans, they can be funny and caring people who long for community. Like all lost people, they do not see their lifestyle as sin. My task is to lovingly show them the need for reconciliation with Jesus. I pray that they come to saving faith.
What I won't do is I won't hate them. I will show compassion to them. How about you?

This not from fear, it is from caution. Why would I send someone I care about into a situation where they are being taught about a lifestyle that the bible speaks against. Would I talk to those caught in that lifestyle, YES and I have many times. God loves all of His creation and wants all to be saved including those whose lifestyle you may disagree with.

1) Homeschool if you prefer. That's fine. Yet, realize that you have to hand over your children to Gods protective hand, because you won't always be there.

Mental illness? Spiritual illness and manipulation by demonic forces, yes.
I agree that parents or guardians who consent to minors disfiguring the body God created for them and order transition procedures is wrong in every facet. It should be banned.

Austin, I would have to disagree on your thoughts that "transition procedures" should be banned. We as believer's can only be a living witness to those who are caught into such a devilish agenda, but our Lord forbids us to seek "legal" measures to force stop unbeliever's from doing such sickening measures, because there needs to be a separation of church and state!
It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict sinner's of their sin's, no matter how deviate they maybe, passing "laws" to forbid will NOT work, because they will find away to get the procedure's done no matter what.
We are NOT to be entangled in the affairs of this World........the Lord shall bring His Judgement against evil doer's in His Time in His Way, we are to just be testifier's of His Wonderful Saving Grace, and leave God to bring about the increase!
