Do You See Books as Normative or as Mainly Historical to us?

Ideally, the Book of Acts should be “normative” as we are still “that church” so most of what they did, we should still do … and I am speaking more of the “one another” aspects than the “charismata” aspects of their lives.

In reality, it is a historical account of a church that bears little resemblance to its modern counterpart.

To be a real Apostle, one would either had to be numbered among the 12 of Christ, or else seen the resurrected Christ as Paul did and get commissioned, none today can claim either one
Besides, their words would be as good as Scripture (so-called Prophets included).
