We were talking tonight in youth group about how to treat those around us that are not noticed.

They had some great insight...

Actually, I was teaching that after a person commits themselves to Christ, they are going to develop Christ-like characteristics by changing the way they think.

I used one of the girls as an example and she role-played a homeless teen.

I then ask the class 2 questions.

1) How should they treat her if she came to church?
2) would we as a youth group really treat her the way we know we should?

I then pointed out the reason Christians sometimes don'e exhibit Christ-like characteristics is because we sometimes think wrong.

We need to have the mind of Christ, and we only do that by repentance.

Once we have a change of heart and mind, then we will begin to notice others besides ourselves.

Ohh.. 1 more thing..

Pizza sounds good. Today was pizza day at school and I had to smell that stuff from about 10:am on.

Tim, we talked about the mind of Christ as well today in chapel at school.

So who's bringing the pizza?They dont deliver out in the sticks.
