Pizza is not bad for you if you don't eat the whole thing. I always leave 2 slices for the rest of the family.

Thanks Pastor, I'll be looking forward to it.

I actually convinced a girl one time that if you drink a diet soda with a slice of pizza they cancel each other out. You know like in math.

I even had a math equation proving it!!

Now where did I put that.....

And if we walk a mile afterwars, that will counteract the fries from McDonalds that would go GREAT with pizza.

Pastor, I got the DVD today and that was an awesome message... You are truly gifted!

My whole family watched it and said they really enjoyed it. My oldest son (14) said, "Hey dad he's preaching on the same thing you did yesterday."

It is so great to know, first of all that my son was actually paying attention, and second that God can give 2 men from 2 diffeerent states the same ideas!

Anyway thank you.

dh is using Stained Glass Masquerade in his sermon Sunday as an illustration in his sermon. He isnt even a CC fan, just heard some kids and me discussing the song. It just fits, same as the other ones mentioned before in this thread.

God is certainly using Mark Hall's writing abilities to affect this country, and possibly the world.

That is one thing I like about CC.. Hall tells it like it is.. all of his songs are built upon scripture. And most are relevent enough to use as illustrations..

I was on another board here while back, and some were complaining about Stained Glass masquerade. They said it was weak as it justified a carnal christian.. I tried to explain that it didn't, but they just couldn't see the meaning behind it.. Some are so simple minded and need bottle fed that they can't understand the deeper illustrations. That is a problem we have to look out for.. We need to make sure the illustrations we use are relevant to the people that hear us.
