Do you think Pharaoh being hardened is a foreshadowing of Israel?

No, its just due to the biblical fact that as a direct result of the Fall of adam, and ALL of us seen by God as being part of that judgement against Adam due to sin...

We are all unable to even respond to the Gospel unless God allows us His grace and the means to do such, so that that is why we tend to see coming to faith in jesus "man centered" if you say that man can freely respon equally to the Gospel, as that faith needs to be provided to us by God based our spiritual condition and stae that we find ourselves all in!

its not based upon the will of man, but directly upon the Will of God, as per the Apostle John in his first chapter!

With regard to those who are saved it is completely based upon the will of God and His provision, but with regard to those who don't it is completely based upon the will of man and their own rebellion. They don't have the excuses: "God didn't love me." or "God didn't choose me." or "God didn't want me." or "I couldn't see, hear or understand." Or "God didn't regenerate me."

God did all that was necessary for them to be reconciled and THEY and THEY alone are the reason for their being condemned.

For those who are saved, it is all glory to God. For those who are condemned, it is all their fault and God is not pleased by their perishing, He sincerely wanted them to come to faith.

Regardless IF was elected out by God, ALL are responsible to Him , as we are ALl sinners who willfully chose to rebell against God!

God did all that was necessary for them to be reconciled and THEY and THEY alone are the reason for their being condemned.

Again, NONE who are lost will have any way to plead before God!

ALL are guilty before Him... By their natures and their choices in this life...

Even those who willfully chose to do eveil and wicked things while alive?
Who refused to even ackwoledge God, and set themselves up almost as being "masters of their own fate?"
What all those verses saying the Lord hatred/displeasure towards the evil/wicked people?

Can you show me where you ever said that being cut off from the tree represented, "the Gospel being removed from them, and they without the means of grace and salvation." Or "[God] inflicted due punishment upon the Jews, unchurched them, and stripped them of those privileges they enjoyed in a church state; who were the natural descendants of Abraham."

Because what I recall is you ridiculing me for suggesting the tree represented the gospel, yet now you claim to be saying "the same thing as Gill" who is clearly showing that being cut off from the tree represents "the Gospel being removed from them, and they without the means of grace and salvation."

Which is it?

Aaron, I'm still waiting on your answers from this thread.... :praying:

A man of integrity might; a man of intergrity is doubtful!

Your comment reminds of a friend I once had who was a very Calvinistic/Determinist/DoG/Whatever they want to be called today, pastor.

He’s no longer around though now. It seems he got caught up in an adulterous affair with the church secretary and this was going on for some time, although many were becoming suspicious. Finally, the suspicions spread and rumors reached his wife. When he got home that day he got into a huge fight with his wife and ended up hitting her so hard that she died.

Later, after he had been found guilty and was about to be sentenced the judge paused to ask him, “What was going on in your mind when you found out you had killed your wife?” Apparently, he said, “I was thinking WHEW, I’m glad that is over with!”
