Actually it is the chosen world. Paul addressed them such earlier when discussing their call 1 Cor 1:26-28
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
2
7 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised,
hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
However thats not the point, the point is the world in 2 Cor 5:19 is reconciled to God, Vs 18 and thats who the imperative in Vs 20 is to, an already reconciled/saved world.
And if you had any Spiritual understanding, you should see the world in 2 Cor 5:19 God doesnt charge with sin, now that being the case, how in Gods creation, them who are lost in their sins, can be part of the world of 2 Cor 5:19 ?
That in itself proves its the world of only some, the elect.
