Anyone can point out to anyone else if they think he is getting personal or inflammatory.

But the pivotal thing in this experiment is that each of his rebukes his OWN- not just those of the other persuasion.

It would also be helpful if we would compliment thoughtful posts made by those of the opposite persuasion on occasion, not just spur along those who oppose our opponents' position.

Rules of posting on the board are clearly stated at the bottom of every page. Follow those and it will be a civil discussion.

They're no good.

You, a moderator, do not follow them and only enforce them when it suits you.

They'd be fine if they were followed by moderators like yourself and if you moderators would enforce them appropriately, but since you don't- they're no good.

Just start your thread Luke. I don't understand how a person rebukes his own post. Follow the rules of the board, and all will be fine.

Reread the post.

I did not say one rebukes his own post- those of his persuasion.

If a Calvinist gets out of line- then I will point it out.

If someone with a nameless theology like yourself gets out of line- you will rebuke them.

Understand?

Are you going to address my question in this new thread too?

1. If God, then you have to defend your position that God is not the author of evil.
2. If the criminal, then you have to defend your position that God "controls all things," because you have someone creating or originating something apart from God.

Luke, you accuse me of breaking the rules.
Ask others how often you break the rules. Shall I tell you how many reports I have received of you breaking the rules. If you can't keep the rules of the board, why should I have any confidence in you keeping another set of rules. I don't. First, show your integrity by keeping the board's rules. I am not going to succumb to your rules when you cannot even keep the rules of this board. If you want to have this discussion it is on the basis of the rules of this board. Otherwise just forget the whole idea.

No, don't bother sharing that info- because I don't care.

I guarantee you this- 90% of them espouse this new nameless theology of yours.

So I do not care.

Secondly, I have had NUMEROUS pm's concerning YOU.

So it really doesn't matter, does it?

You do not keep the rules.

You are the worst moderator I have ever seen.

That is a good question. It would be good for Luke to think through it.

Apparently this thread is not going to happen.

I am not going to talk about a subject of this magnitude and complexity with all the normal, stupid distractions.

That's up to you.
So is your view of the nature of God as fatalistic as the Muslim's view of God?

Luke are you going to answer Skandelon?

See post 250.

Yes. I know you are excited about the question because it is a very good question.

I will answer it- but I will not deal with all the regular stupid mess that goes along with these discussions if I am to discuss this good and complex subject.

It looks like prophecy is one of my gifts...

Ok, I'll start a new thread with this question and I guarantee you that I will avoid the fallacies you mentioned and attempt to keep things as civil as possible...and I'll request others to do the same. Okay?

Just answer the question. There was no stupid mess in that question.
