I thought this would be helpful for folks on this board to know how some Calvinists who frequent this board go to another forum and engage in ridicule, gossip, and slander of people on this board with whom they disagree theologically. It is sad that such behavior is deemed necessary by adults no less. There are some other threads very similar this is not the only one. The reason it can be helpful is so you can make a choice out of wisdom on how to respond to them here or even if at all.

Yes, that is because they've been scrubbed by a moderator over there. Likely Preacher4Truth, or as we know him now, Internet Theologian.

I had some excerpts I had saved with the corresponding links but now none of my links don't work. I saw these posts from the Dog House board and there were many, many posts denigrating posters here on BB.

Here's one that was posted by Preacher4truth (about Baptist Board):

Oh, and here's the OP of "Free Grace Theology: Mocking God?" by Internet Theologian as posted on Baptist Board:
The soteriological view contained in Free Grace Theology teaches a person can apostatize from the faith, deny Christ, deny the Gospel, live in any number of habitual sins, and, is still saved. Adherents to this system teach a saved person may never exhibit any evidence of regeneration.

Popular proponents of this teaching are the late Zane Hodges, Charles Ryrie and Charles Stanley (among many others)


And here is a post on the Dog House board by Preacher4Truth:
Charles Stanley, Charles Ryrie, Zane Hodges (among others who have taken their baton) teach that a person, after salvation, can deny the teachings of Christ, the Gospel, God &c and yet are still saved. In other words they discontinue abiding in His teachings.

Once I posted the links on this thread it seems the admins changed the persmission settings so that now those who are not logged in cannot see those posts. Just know that people on this board were ridiculed, maligned, gossiped about etc by many of the Calvinists on this board. Since they have to hide their behavior we can know it is indeed evil.

If there were any derogatory comments made they are most likely true and reflect actual behaviors and events, postings. I believe it to be wise to warn others of the bad behaviors of professing believers, to mark them and avoid them. It's biblical. Now in all honesty what really is gossip? This thread?

Did you even read this post before you posted it?

Why is it they needed to change the permissions after I posted this thread so that no one could see those posts?

When I looked the board over I saw several screen names from here and also some others that were variations on screen names from here. There's at least a half dozen Calvinist posters from BB that migrated to Dog House.

Sure, it's all on the up and up. That's why the site was shut down to visitors.

So far this thread is full of factual information, unlike the digs and disses that were on D-O-G board.

I wouldn't call 6 many. O.R., is there, but he isn't a Calvinist. There is 3 or 4 "Calvinists" that use both sites. Well, I haven't seen a GreekTim post in a long time, not sure if C1 uses this site anymore. BW doesn't post much on the other. JonC and I are really the only 2 that uses both. I don't think he claims to be a Calvinist. So....that leaves only me.
