So far this thread is full of factual information, unlike the digs and disses that were on D-O-G board.

For a while, I posted on the Dog house board. After being gone for a bit, I returned and saw the threads/posts growling about the BB. I made a comment that they should not be so, and that it was not Christian behavior. I was banned, erased, and blocked within twenty minutes with no explanation.

One good thing is that, by blocking visitors from accessing the Doghouse site, the curious seeker is spared the bitterness and does not get a wrong general impression.

That's weird ralf. Do you complain about that same behavior seen here, the slander, lying, scorning, and, um, the hypocrisy of this exact thread, or are you biased, sowing discord, gossiping and blowing your own horn right about now?

Sad, really.

I actually enjoyed reading much of what was on the site until the shift in atmosphere.

As I explained publicly in that deleted post, "Arbo" could not log in (lost my password and could not retrieve it). There was no dishonesty or anything secretive. I wanted help.

I for one am glad Preacher4Truth is gone from this board. I believe that he was nothing more than an atheist posing as a hyper-cal in order to troll this board. There was no evidence of the fruits of the Spirit in him.

Guys IT (aka preacher4truth)is correct let's not attack people. This thread is simply intended to show what a number of cals are doing there in an effort to understand how to deal with some of the attitudes also displayed here.

Further nothing excuses what is going on over there and any attempt to do so at this point is only seen as excusing sin. In fact the sudden change of permissions on that site is nothing more than hiding their sin.

So it is ethically impossible to discuss the threads on DoG, in any way, because it would be gossiping? That's your position?

If that his his position he is wrong. Just be sure not to make this about personalities. Speak directly to the behavior not the people.

I just don't get it. I would hope that if a forum became that distasteful to me, that I would simply abandon it.

A good forum should be like a family, all disagreements handled in house and not spilling out.

Some people do not come to forums to be friends or a family. They come to forums to be right and show everyone else wrong. Their agenda is narcissistic and self aggrandizing. Most likely they are insecure with their own doctrine and need to bully and ridicule people with whom they disagree. There is zero chance of a reasonable conversation with them. They always work to define terms so as to be always right and they try to set perimeters of debate for the same reasons. When you do not go along with them and their boundaries they will attack you.

I was showing the hypocrisy of this thread brother. It is OK in this thread to gossip and backstab (to some, not all) but, if that behavior happens with 'another address in the address bar above' it's wrong. It was sarcastic in a sense meant to point out the hypocrisy here.

I'd use the example of George Whitefield and consider, that perhaps what they are saying is true, and take an inward look.

Either way, I've enjoyed reading the threads here. You guys crack me up with the "Ah! I've been slandered!" stuff sometimes. I can't fathom going to some other board to cry about someone on BB calling me names.
