scripture such as Romans 10:9 where He is submitted to and proclaimed He is Lord.
I am now of the view Jesus is Lord in Romans 10:9 refers to His humanity not His Deity. His title of Christ refers to His Deity, as in Acts 2:36 and Ephesians 3:9 KJV. And as Christ is called God, Ephesians 5:5. Lord is used for His humanity with His Deity in John 20:28. Unless you want His mother to be the Mother of God in Luke 1:43.

You like several others violently abuse verses that taught the Apostles would be guided into ALL TRUTH.
You are not.
Any truth a person welcomes comes by the indwelling Spirit of God.
You and all others who have a mistaken notion that everything they believe is from God are boderline deluded. Do not even begin to blame the Spirit for your denial of several scriptural truths.
No...when I see a cultist I listen to see where they deny scripture.
I do the same with those who deny the doctrines of grace.
When you are familiar with the truth, it is easy to spot the false.
God has given many gifted teachers to the churches over time.
I make full use of them and constantly check my understanding with what more gifted persons have seen in their bibles, and written good solid study material.
Obviously, healthy Christians are going to read their bibles primarily, but it is ludicrous to suppose God given teachers are to be totally avoided.

Your arrogance is showing. You seem to think you are the judge of truth. I know this will come as a shock to a sensitive soul such as yourself but your not.
What you call God gifted teaches may be just as deluded as anyone else.

I do not think so, because:
Matthew 1:21, ". . . thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. . . ."
Luke 2:11, ". . . For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. . . ."
Isaiah 43:11, ". . . I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. . . ."
Jesus is Lord over all of the redeemed when first saved, but all of us need to grow into that aspect more and more, to have that truth applied to us in a real sense!

Arrogance is your post 38 and now you double down on it, denying Eph4.:11-16.
Of course,in post 26 you declare that you trust the Spirit to guide you into a correct understanding,so no one else could do that?
You never need correction...I see:Sick:Cautious

I will say one thing for you, you never fail to jump to unwarranted conclusions. Did I say that I do not use commentaries, NO.
I study scripture first then use the commentaries to see if by understanding is right and adjust as necessary. You, on the other hand, seem to think we should trust your gifted teachers over what the Holy Spirit teaches.

But we should not forget that for you the only truth is what your DoG say it is.

Everyone saw what you posted already. TRYING to cover your tracks will not help.I am not going to rehash the posts...people can read it.
You "surmised " wrongly what I believed about the Spirit.
I do believe the doctrines of Grace are a summary of the truth of the gospel of the Kingdom.
Some day it might dawn upon you.

Well as I said you do love to jump to unfounded conclusions but then why would anyone be surprised at that.

Why would you think I am trying to cover my tracks. What I said is what I do. You may not trust the Holy Spirit to guide you but Christians do. I know you hold to the DoG and there in lays the problem. You seem to put more trust in those than the scriptures.

Hold onto your DoG, LBCF or WCF or whatever else you need, I will just trust the bible.and use extra biblical texts as a supplement to that study.

You can continue your attack in vain.Have fun.

It is to your shame that you think you are the source of truth. I actually feel sorry for you. Please take off the blinders and just read the text of the bible without reading into it what you want to find. Also try reading in context and stop cherry picking verses that you hope will give support to your views. Just a couple of tips to help you come into the true light of scripture.

be careful how you say things around here. Some folks are hypersensative and want to read you questioning anothers salvation into what you post. It will get you banned.

Brother, no one here thinks they themselves to be the source of truth. Everyone believers what they believe to be the truth - including you.

Points of disagreement need to be understood clearly.

So - why do think some don't want to be categorized as a C or A?
Because you can’t swing a dead cat on any “Christian” discussion board without hitting someone with a heterodox or heretical view …
and both Calvinism and Arminianism require adherence to some orthodoxy (established standard).

I had a pastor friend years ago tell me that C vs A is like a set of railroad tracks - up close they are far apart - but way down a ways they look like they are one.

Different countries use different guage rails. A USA train car won't run on a Czech rail system. It's the close attention to detail that shows this difference. Looking from a distance leads to a deception that they are all the same.

Good thing I am not hypersensative like some folks on here. Martin I know what you think and that's fine I disagree with your view just as you disagree with mine.

FYI I do not consider myself the source of all truth but I know who is and also where to find it. What I have done and will continue to do is point out errors in theology and logic. Some on here may disagree.

But, will you receive the fact that you have glaring errors in theology as well as logic?
You have been shown your error in scripture so often and by so many different people that it is high time you look at your own errors and repent (turn away from them).

That is a good analogy for several reasons.
  1. If you get too close, the distance between the rails seems greater than it really is. They are not two completely different tracks going to two completely different locations.
  2. The rails never really converge. That is an illusion. The distance between them is real and constant, however it might appear.
  3. The view from 10,000 feet makes it clear that both rails are pointing to the same destination and there is a greater difference between BOTH rails and the River or the dirt road that lead to other destinations … than there is between the rails.
