Really? So if people criticize your links, they are whining? :Biggrin

Hey, go ahead and use substandard, anonymous, unsourced sources. No skin off my nose if you want to look more ignorant than our college freshmen, who learn sourcing in Eng. 101. :p

Some people are obviously very quick to anger. I apologize for upsetting you with using whine instead of complain.

Boy you think you're slick don't ya. You don't like what people post so you level these characterizations to paint them in a way never intended by them. There is not a single reason to believe John is angry. In fact he seems to be pretty calm. Just because he rejects your pejoratives of him doesn't mean he is angry.

However, your use of these pejoratives make you look angry. Thus far your posts have been both angry and sophomoric (if you don't know what that means let me know I can explain it for ya).

"Just because he rejects your pejoratives of him doesn't mean he is angry."

I said one word and I actually apologized for that. Are you really going to change this into an examination of everyone's eyes?

    Insult,

Insult and you're only worth my time to insult.

    Mocking.

Maybe this is just John's way. But a more appropriate way would be to leave the insults and mocking out of it. He did the same to me in a previous post. Notice how I didn't go out of my way to insult him back, but instead tried to make peace and find some common ground.

By the way Revmitchell, you are still public in the opinion that a Christian is doing evil without a shred of evidence.

Wasn't angry in the slightest. Bemused, more like. But I accept your partial apology (critical in the midst of the apology--"quick to anger"). :)

I call it rebuke. I was genuinely hoping you'd come up with better sources and a better attitude.
It's the Internet, I'm afraid. You can't hear my tone of voice. My goal was kidding, not insult, so that's why I used the emoji (called the "big grin" one, not the "mocking" one). But I apologize.

I believe the churches in America have a huge problem with entertainment addiction. We spend hours a day on TV (getting worse all the time--can't watch any current programs anymore), social media (head in a phone all day), sports, and computer games. Some of these are harmless in their way, but addiction is nothing to ignore.
