Of course, and they have sowed so much fear into the public, that is hard to undue now. A little virus destroyed the USA but not literally, only in the mind. Dr. Faucet, cry me a river, also say handshakes should never again occur and life as we knew it is over. Fauci projects his own fears onto the vast public landscape.

Watched, this and of course he sure does make a lot of sense. Says many of the things I have thought, and also herd immunity is what keeps the entire society from dying off, not medical care in hospitals. MSM has been pushing super high melodrama North Korea propaganda style broadcasting, if you watched any, you will see what I mean.

Decades of slower growth ahead because of what our governors have done in shutting down their states is one possibility.

"Perspectives on the Pandemic Episode 2: In this explosive second edition of Perspectives on the Pandemic, Professor Knut Wittkowski, for twenty years head of The Rockefeller University's Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design, says that social distancing and lockdown is the absolutely worst way to deal with an airborne respiratory virus.

Further, he offers data to show that China and South Korea had already reached their peak number of cases when they instituted their containment measures. In other words, nature had already achieved, or nearly achieved, herd immunity.

Professor Wittkowski urges that the schools be open now, so that the virus may spread harmlessly among the young, and thus shorten the amount of time the elderly and immune compromised must be sequestered. Our current course, he warns, will only prolong the crisis and likely guarantee a ?second wave? of infections in the Fall.

REPORT: 30%-50% Of Patients In Chicago Tested For COVID-19 Already Have Antibodies In System
up to 50% of people tested as walkins at Chicago hospitals testing centers already have coronavirus antibodies, so the pandemic is about over for Chicago soon. I hope this means enough people got exposed to the virus to establish a decent herd immunity in many cities. I have long thought the people of NYC are going to be the most immune of large US cities due to the high infection rates. So epidemiologists ought to inform Cuomo of this or they are bonkers, which they might be.

The virus can not spread very much if many of the people it encounters are immune because they got over it and have antibodies, or they are already sick with the virus. That is what this epidemiologist is basically alluding towards. The goal of public health officials should be to expose the lowest risk people so when they recover they offer protection to the most vulnerable. And staying locked down with isolation for everyone does not accomplish much expect causing more eventual deaths and prolonging the agony to society.

Yeah, just let the let the weak die off, the strong will survive.

No sense in slowing the virus down to give time for therapeutics and a vaccine to be developed, no purpose to that at all. The more that get infected the merrier! 100 million, 200 million, …heck we probably wouldn’t lose more than 10%. A good percentage will hardly have any symptoms.

Not much chance of therapeutics or a vaccine anyway so we’re just prolonging the inevitable and a second wave, yeah, that’s my thinking, sorry but Grandma, and the other little weaklings are expendable when it comes to me losing money and having to be in lockdown.

No doubt the best course is to ignore our government’s top experts and oppose their plan, listen to the Youtube experts, the government shouldn't have any power to ...well...govern this situation – its every man for himself! Let nature take its course, that is God’s will, it only natural, hallelujah and Happy Easter!

You're.

Not.

Saving.

Lives.

Knucklehead.

But even if your panic-driven grossly exaggerated death rates were accurate, and they're not, as has been proven time and again, but even if they were, and these lockdowns were really accomplishing something, liberty is worth all their lives.

There are at least five strains of the virus now. It could easily mutate into a more virulent strain.

Hard decisions, very hard decisions, will have to be made. We cannot allow the lockdown to cause the country to implode. Trade offs will be forthcoming.

After it had killed 50 to a 100 million people. It killed more than died in the first world war in Europe.
Respiratory influenza is a different virus. Everyone is different. And there are many older sicker people with all sorts of medical issues. I just read any kind of smoking and covid can kill you.
Lifestyle choices will kill you one way or another, such as smoking, over eating, risky behaviors... not to mention all the myriad numbers of medical conditions, they predispose you to sitting on the edge of a knife. Wen your already in a compromised state, it's easy to be pushed over the edge. I keep looking at many pictures of them who died and many are obviously overweight.
