That is why a son father arrangement does not occur in heavenExcept that John states they forever existed together!
He was in heaven while on the earth as wellHe was also "with God" being someone other than God (John 1:2). Being "made" flesh was change as to how He was with God, but not a change that He "was God."
It does, its just that you refused to accept it!That is why a son father arrangement does not occur in heaven
Is the son from the father, then?It does, its just that you refused to accept it!
It does. The Father sends the Son; the Son does not send the Father. That is why a son father arrangement does not occur in heaven
never had a beginning, as he is eternal! Is the son from the father, then?
Does the Son have a beginning in Heaven before earth?
then how can one be a father and one a son?never had a beginning, as he is eternal!
how about God came himself as a son of man?It does. The Father sends the Son; the Son does not send the Father.
I think we need to be careful here to avoid the errors of Modalism and Patripassionism. God came in the Person of His Son.how about God came himself as a son of man?
I agree, God who we designate as the Son came in Person. Yet He was in Heaven while a human.I think we need to be careful here to avoid the errors of Modalism and Patripassionism. God came in the Person of His Son.
Yes. Not at issue. He "was God." And in that He is immutable. John 1:1-2 does not say "Father" but explicitly "with God." He was both "with God" and "was God" prior to creation and His incarnation.Jesus was fully God before the incarnation event... he was God, and yet was not the Father Himself...
Because they just are! How can God be eternal, with no beginning?then how can one be a father and one a son?
then you mischaracterize the relationship.Because they just are! How can God be eternal, with no beginning?
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and God has always been His father!God who we call the Father was not a father to the God who we call the Son, nor the God we call the son as son until incarnation.
There is no time involved in their relationship, as both have always been God!then you mischaracterize the relationship.
A Father is normally before a Son. therefore in Heaven their's is not a Father Son
no, He is GodJesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and God has always been His father!
Then one cannot be a son,There is no time involved in their relationship, as both have always been God!
The Second person of the Triune God!no, He is God
Hebrews says
Heb 1:5
¶
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
