Racist. White supremacist. Anti-immigrant. Violence to achieve ends. Anti-democratic. 'Medieval Knight'. Supporter of Breivik. Etc

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

It has been reported today that the nation with values closest to his own is Communist China, and he admired Oswald Mosely, the infamous British national socialist. Nothing "right wing" about this guy - he is a leftist to the core.

Sorry, but no and thrice no: you sound like you're paraphrasing part of his sick manifesto and this is the kind of dog whistle rhetoric ("destruction of Christian Europe blah blah blah, colonisation by alien cultures blah blah blah, swamped by a tide of immigrants yada yada yada") that encourages and spawns mass murderers like Tarrant (his manifesto admits as such, as does the support he has received on far right websites) or the murderer of Jo Cox in the UK in 2016. Remember that not just BB members read our posts and we need to take care and be responsible in what we say because we don't know who might be reading them....

I am just relating the reality of the situation to you. Germany recently let in all those Muslim migrants and they are having serious criminal problems with many of them. Even one young woman who helped welcome them has now done a complete 180.

While in your country, it is no coincidence that London is now called Londonistan. Belgium, France, Sweden and other places also are having great problems because of this very different culture that has been forced on the people. The "no-go" zones are particularly galling to me. A non-Muslim citizen actually born in that particular country cannot enter it? That is completely outrageous!

How come all these people had to come to the west? Why are we supposed to take them all in while big Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, places where they share the same religion don't? The reason is they are not stupid like us. They know the problems that will happen and they refuse to be a party to the madness that we in the west seems to want to embrace. Thank you Tony Blair and Ted Kennedy!

I am against violence by anyone, but at some point some unstable person who is against this forcing of cultures was going to react and this shooting was that reaction, and now people like you wring their hands and wonder why? The reason is as plain as the nose on your face.

You didn't really read much of his manifesto did you. You read just enough to meet the narrative in your bigotry and you rushed over here to post it in your fervor to find something to point at those on the right. I suggest you read more of it, and, and, and reread what he says about immigration. You need to read what he has to say about just what contry he most identifies with.

You either do not know what you are talking about or you are intentionally spinning what he says.

There is no such thing as dog whistle and this guy cannot be more blunt. He feels no need to "dog whistle" again your spinning his words to fit your personal narrative.

I can not hold back on my liberty to speak the truth in the event that some nutso might do something evil. The Democrats in my country swear it was just a "coincidence" that the left wing wacko who was a supporter of Bernie Sanders shot and almost killed Rep. Steve Scalise a couple of years ago. No, no, no, it wasn't their rhetoric against Republicans and President Trump that caused that nutso to go off the rails they tell us. Free speech remains, for the hateful Democrats and the left in general - and me.

Oh, so the population of that tiny island was always at a high level and secondly the same principle applies forever once it is established. So why don't you move the people of the Gaza to London--I am sure that that would make the rich Germans happier.

Oh, so Christianity and Islam are moral equivalents according to Matt Black and Christians are told by Jesus to murder Jews, etc.
Nope. But do you deny that the OT contains passages which, if taken literally, can be construed as endorsing or inciting violence? If so, what Bible are you reading?

Do you really believe that immigration should go on at high levels no matter what the domestic situation in a country is? Is there something in the legacy of the Norman Conquest that I missed that says that French have to be allowed it at all times? Should everyone in the world be forced to live in London so that we can complete the Tower of Babel?

I really don't know what your allusion is about. The OT is a history of Israel and the Jewish theocracy operated under certain rules. I assure you that I do not support the establishment of a Jewish theocracy unless it is the will of people in Israel to have one there. Muhammad said that it was okay to have marital relations with nine year old girls, that polygamy was okay, that he had a right to massacre 800 or so Jews, that marriage with 1st cousins is okay, that polygamy is okay, that homosexuals should be put to death, that adoption is wrong, and that non-Muslims are second-class people and should be executed if they don't convert, and that the devil is black and a black man will destroy Mecca. Where are the parallels in Christianity with that sort of thinking, which I guess you accept?

The guy was seriously messed up. The manifesto contained enough viewpoints from both sides of far-left and far-right to be unable to put him into a category. However, anti-immigration is not a leftist stance. White supremacy is not a leftist stance. Leftists are not known to be gun enthusiasts. So I can understand why he was pigeonholed as being far-right.

He was a follower of "National Socialism" is what I have heard. I don't understand how the left has been able to argue the "Socialism" is anything but a left wing ideology. In Germany in the 1930's, the Nazi's and the Communists were fighting about whose leftist ideology Germany was going to follow, would it be the international variety or the national variety. Either way, the individual would be subordinated to the collective.

Sounds like you're making excuses for this guy; it has echoes in parts of his 'manifesto'. That, in and of itself, I find deeply troubling, particularly coming from a Catholic Christian

I read all 73 pages of the mucky document. Sounds like you're the one trying to spin the facts to meet your narrative that there can be no violence from the right...

I don't accept that at all so stop trying to twist my words. The allusion I'm.getting at is that both the Qur'an and the Old Testament contain passages inciting violence and thus to single out the former as exceptional on that front is intellectually dishonest.

How did this kook run around NZ with all these weapons?

The guy was seriously messed up. The manifesto contained enough viewpoints from both sides of far-left and far-right to be unable to put him into a category. Kinda, sorta, although I'd rather pigeonhole him as alt-right, at least if he were an American.

The alt-right hates the right, and this guy sure did with the "corporatism in disguise remark", and "conservatism is dead, thank God". Like most of the alt-right, the right's racial ideas are a big problem for him - "conservatives don't believe in race, and if they did, it wouldn't matter to them". So alt-right.

Mass murderer hated the left, too - "anti-white scum". There again, they're his enemies because they don't embrace white supremacy.

You have to remember this guy was not an American, his opinions on Trump were probably shaped by CNN yet in this rant, he sounds like one. Doesn't even mention the Brexit problem, but goes on and on about Candace Owens? And some of the terms - "balkanization"? There he sounded like Pat Buchanan.

Then he praised China as being the best nation on earth and willing visits North Korea? Now he sounds more Mao. He's alt-right, the Charlie Manson of this century.
