A little trivia...

Tom Lister, the actor who portrayed Eb Dawson, never married. He is a Christian, and speaks at churches all over. He never starred in a movie that had any hint of sexual content because he said he would not bring disgrace to the Lord.

He was in the process of making a comedy short like Tim Conway's DORF character with none other than Hank Kimbell actor Alvey Moore and Alvie died before they could finish the spoof. It was supposed to be on fishing and hunting. I am not sure if Tom finished that short or not.

Tom spoke at one of my associates in North Carolina back in the mid 90's and he lifted up Christ that night.

Last I heard, Tom was living in Mississippi... still preaching the Gospel and selling grapeseed extract on the side for health.
The internet says that e lives in Vossburg Ms and is a tree farmer. I have been to Vossburg and am not surprised that if he livs there that he would be a tree farmer. What else could a person do in Vossburg.

Faithgirl,
let me guess
New york is whether you'd rather stay
You must get allergic smelling Hay
You must adore a penthouse view
You'd rather have Park Avenue

Okay, was doing a search for something and somehow this thread came up in the results. Had to show a little love to my boy Mr. Haaaney, and bump it at as well. TTT :laugh:

The only normal one was the rich guy who moved there with his reluctant wife. In real life, she would have left him and been given their home, cars, most of the money, and all he would have gotten was the privilege of paying her alimony with what little money they would allowed him to keep. I'm reminded of a country song that says, "She got the gold mine, and I got the shaft."

I vote for the pig...with biscuits, gravy and a side of hashbrowns. :thumbs:

Me too....except for the fact that the meal wouldn't exactly be Kosher.

Some questions to ponder:

Would Arnold have ridden on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle? (With full "hog" uniform and regalia of course!) :smilewinkgrin:

Are Arnold and Babe (of movie fame) related to each other? :rolleyes:

Can you imagine what would have happened if Arnold would have shown up at Boss Hogg's Boar's Nest on the Dukes of Hazzard right about meal time? :eek:
