Oh my! I had forgotten about that! The Sons of the Pioneers was a favorite of my Granny's! hmmm....wonder if you can find THEIR music on youtube???

A little trivia...

Tom Lister, the actor who portrayed Eb Dawson, never married. He is a Christian, and speaks at churches all over. He never starred in a movie that had any hint of sexual content because he said he would not bring disgrace to the Lord.

He was in the process of making a comedy short like Tim Conway's DORF character with none other than Hank Kimbell actor Alvey Moore and Alvie died before they could finish the spoof. It was supposed to be on fishing and hunting. I am not sure if Tom finished that short or not.

Tom spoke at one of my associates in North Carolina back in the mid 90's and he lifted up Christ that night.

Last I heard, Tom was living in Mississippi... still preaching the Gospel and selling grapeseed extract on the side for health.

The internet says that e lives in Vossburg Ms and is a tree farmer. I have been to Vossburg and am not surprised that if he livs there that he would be a tree farmer. What else could a person do in Vossburg.

The only normal one was the rich guy who moved there with his reluctant wife. In real life, she would have left him and been given their home, cars, most of the money, and all he would have gotten was the privilege of paying her alimony with what little money they would allowed him to keep.
