FBI probing new Clinton emails

So they went through 650,00 emails in two days? By the way Comey did not say they did not find anything.

They don't need to go through 650,000 emails. They only need to look at emails sent to and from Huma Abedin. That is a unique search term.

They got the search warrant last Sunday. They've been at it for six days, probably around the clock using lots of manpower and banks of computers using sophisticated search algorithms.

Piece of cake.

So there weren't any computers last year when the 80,000 emails were examined over a 9 month period?

I could have sworn I had a computer back then.
All of those 80,000 emails involved Hillary Clinton. Only a few thousand emails on Anthony Weiner's computer involved Huma Abedin and Hillary Clinton. Or Huma Abedin and the State Department. Now add a date range to these keywords and you can winnow the emails down fairly quickly.

How do we know that without examining them?
Computers, how do they work?

Seriously, you're making this way more difficult than need be. I presume they do a search term on all of Huma Abedin's email addresses. If they're not in the email header there's no need to look at the body of the email. I'm pretty sure the FBI knows how to do this.

Sure, sure, whatever you say...

From the moment they secured a warrant, dozens of FBI agents worked night and day to analyze a trove of messages that they thought might help advance their probe of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server, according to a U.S. official.

The pressure was intense. FBI Director James Comey had told legislators in late October — less than two weeks before the election — that the bureau’s work had resumed, igniting a firestorm of criticism that his revelation had affected the election. The agents’ work, at first, seemed endless. They had to use special software to sift through some 650,000 e-mails.

But on Sunday, just two days before the election, Comey announced that the team had news to share. After reviewing “all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State,” he wrote, investigators had “not changed our conclusions.”

Sorry, you are not telling me anything I don't already know and I still think they could not go through them all that quick. I think Comey was once again pressured. Most likely does not want to end up dead like so many other people surrounding the Clintons who have "committed suicide".

All right, the narrative doesn't match up with your preconceived ideas so, viola, a conspiracy theory! Must be a Brietbart reader.

For Pete's sake, go into your email software, type in a portion of one of your contact's names and do a search and see what comes up. It's not that difficult.

See here is the difference between you and me. I don't trust the government. I trust Hillary, the DNC, and liberals even less. The recent emails released by wikileaks has confirmed any number of other so called conspiracy theories. So you can take you smarmy attitude somewhere else. it doesn't fly here.

Sure, if you accept the WikiLeaks emails as being authentic. I do believe they are authentic. But simply dismissing them out of hand can make them irrelevant in someone's view. Sorta like how you don't believe the FBI was able to search through thousands of emails in a week. It isn't real. It didn't happen. OK, so someone says WikiLeaks are counterfeits. They never happened. See how convenient that is?

You presume? How do we know we have all of her email addresses? And how do a dozen FBI forensic computer analysts check 650,000 emails is just 8 days when it took 9 months to check 80,000?

It seem to me to be a pretty pathetic grasping at straws on your part when it is obvious the math is against you.

Just stop you once again are assuming my motivation. I didn't just dismiss anything off hand just because I did not explain it to you.

Call me skeptical, but I envision that Comey either:
1 Increased his bank account by a few million, OR,
2 He found his suicide note amongst the new emails.

My pick is the latter!!:Frown
