Final and Only Authority

    I don't think you understand the Baptist concept of Priesthood of the Believer. It means that all Christians can go directly to God with their prayers and problems. There is no need and no provision made for anyone to intercede on their behalf. No priest to confess to and no Pope to interpret scripture for them. There is no Virgin Mary or saints to pray to as well. i don't think you could say this is in line with Catholic orthodoxy.

    There is one truth but perhaps none of the Christian denominations have got it entirely correct. Each one of us will have to stand before Christ individually. Many faith traditions will be represented in Heaven because the differences between them are not really important.
