I flew on a commercial airline recently. Not a pleasant experience.

But what I really got tired or hearing from the crew and airline employees was this lie:

"Refusing to wear a mask is a violation of FEDERAL LAW."

Lol.....they should have said Federal Requirement. Executive orders have the same effect as law and the force of law, but I'm not sure they are technically called law.

You are correct. It is not a law.

Now the question is - for an example - if a Greyhound Bus has a pickup in Albany and a drop off in Rochester -
Does the Executive order of the POTUS still apply - or just if it is interstate?

Yep. Gotta wear a mask on public transportation into, within, or out of the US.

But it may as well be (executive orders carry the force of law). I guess a difference without distinction?
There was a congressional hearing on that. It is not a law and not even an enforceable order.

I agree it is not a law. I disagree that it cannot be enforced (it would have to be declared unconstitutional and invalidated to be unenforceable). Currently it's enforced by fines.

The question was asked in hearing if the order was a law. Answer was no. Then question was asked if order was enforceable. Answer was it was a directive to the airlines and not the passengers. Airlines could be fined but no order existed that allowed prosecution of a passenger.

Its because we are living in idiotsville where sheeple, sheep. Not many patriots left.

I won't fly until airlines don't require masks. If everyone who opposes masks did the same, order would go away.

So are you glad to take an endearing term used by Christ and try to turn it into a pejorative?

Acts 5:41 So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
Any shame you endure is of your own doing.

Perhaps the problem is there are not enough sheep (at least sheep not wanting to be wolves).

What I mean by this is the attack mentality exhibited by so many.

Rights are things, to a Christian, to be laid down at the foot of the cross.

For me, I am glad to take the title "sheep". How does this look regarding wearing a mask? I wear a mask when it is requested...even when I would rather not.

And that makes you part of the problem. You do not comply when the govt tried to strip freedom. When they take it, they never give it back.

During WW II many items were rationed -ie Gas, rubber, some foods, ect.
When the war was over - the rationing ended.
Lets trust the same will happen when the Chinesee Virus is no longer a major threat.

But going back to masks- provisions must be made for those who do have medical issues.

Perhaps we should trust Scripture even in times like these.

Rather than fighting to demonize vaccinated people, or strip away the freedoms our nation has afforded men, maybe your efforts would be best spent making your own decisions rather than trying to decide for others and being content with the life of a sheep serving one Shepard.

Correction, LEGAL executive orders have the same effect as law and force of law. Not all EO are equal.

Put the shoe back on your foot sir. Stop demonizing the unvaccinated and trying to strip away their freedoms.
