gary demars wrote the reduction of christianity, and he holds to the niew that we are to be a nation ruled by the OT laws as isreal was, and that cannot be supported by the Bible,as ONLY Isreal was given the Law from god to uphold!
He just got in ahead of you dispensationalists; getting folks ready for the 1000 years under the Jews!

And post mil/amil both still have the problem that satan is the god of this world system until Jesus retums !

I posted the following on another Forum y1, perhaps you should read it in order to clarify your thinking about GOD!

A few Biblical revelations about the GOD of this world:

John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2 Corinthians 5:21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Acts 17:28. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Matthew 11:28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Genesis 1:29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Deuteronomy 11:14, 15. That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

Psalms 65:9-13
9. Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
10. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
11. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Now you tell me: Which of the above does your "god of this world" do?

That will be established By jesus Himself, not the church ushering it in!

Does God own the rights to all things that He created? Yes

Has he permitted satan to rule over this present age world system, yes

Do you know what page number where you saw him make this statement?

Some postmill guys do stand close to both full preterists, and Christian reconstructionists.
here ia one such answer from the preterist archive;
Q&A for Gary DeMar: Q: “What do you say in response to all of the people saying that you are secretly a friend to hyperpreterists?” A: "I am willing to listen to their arguments since preterism in its present form is only now coming to its own as we shake off the dust of dispensationalism that has so distorted our interpretation of prophecy. I am willing to cut those full preterists some slack who are attempting to do real exegetical work. Many partial preterists are not willing to do this. To my mind, this approach is counterproductive.
Honest analysis of the Bible is required. I want to be challenged by the best arguments possible, whether they come from full preterists or dispensationalists.
I refuse to adopt a position because I’ve been told to do so. To quote Posey from The Dirty Dozen, “I don’t like being pushed.”" (The Christian Worldview Forum)

I find them interesting to read, but I stop short of some of their ideas, as I do believe the NT stops short of it.

And post mil/amil both still have the problem that satan is the god of this world system until Jesus retums !

satan was bound at the cross so that the gospel can go worldwide....the strongman was bound.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

In one of his debates this is what he said:
“And I’m I’m because I think the larger battle is dispensationalism, that’s pretty much where I’ve kept my fight. I, I feel there are, you know — to get people out of dispensationalism it’s better to, you know, at least from a tactical perspective and so forth. I DON’T DEAL WITH THE FULL PRETERIST ARGUMENT. I’m simply trying to move people from, I’m just trying to get them to see the time texts and things related, you know to Matthew chapter 24 events and other prophetic texts; and move them, you know to that step first, and I think that’s a big enough job without having to deal with this other stuff; and I’ll leave it to you and others to do that sort of thing but no, I DO NOT CONSIDER ALL FULL PRETERISTS OF BEING HERETICS BECAUSE IT GOES AGAINST THE CREEDS [min 4:14]. Uh, uh I would just like to see better exegetical work and I know that you’re attempting to do that but a lot of other guys just aren’t. I think what Don Pres…”

In the context of the debate dispensationalism is heresy.
His main goal is to get them out of that camp and into the preterist camp.

yes....I believe extreme caution does need to be exercised here. I just posted a link that is helpful....Tommy Ice...as he is one who does not shrink back from answering these men.

I believe Gary Demar got the best of him on the great tribulation debate, but I am still working through some of the reconstructionist arguments .

My lack of understanding the arguments for which parts of the judicial law might be a carry over is what takes me so much time to sort through this.

I might start a new thread on this. there is great potential for error here, so I want to be extra cautious. I hope to speak face to face with these men[gary demar, ken gentry] within the next year or two. I am buying a property that is almost in the middle of where they live:thumbsup:

I want to have a working understanding of what they have offered in print or audio message , so I can dialogue in a knowledgeable way with them.

At this point I do not understand exactly what they are advocating...how far they see scripture going on this???

They hold to the USA being govern by the OT Law, but the Lord ONLY gave that Law unto isreal as the means to be governed by!

And Satan in the Messianic Age being bound is far more then just him being hindered from stopping the Gospel , as its also having him no longer influencing the world and sinners to do evil acts...

IF this was the Age of the Messiah as predicted by the OT prophets, we would no more war, no more Enbola outbreaks, and no more Isis behanding Americans!

I know Israel was given laws. The question was......what law did the gentiles have?

And satan will be bound as in revelation, for the Messianic Age,

post and amill believe this also....in fact they believe it is right now.

again....where is this in scripture?

,

Why not now?

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

as he will rule all nations and all peoples, and ALL will follow and obey him!

He rules now.....in the midst of His enemies......not with the enemies destroyed...yet...

8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Kingdom growth spreads and is progressive...

The lord, once again, gave the law unto national isreal ALONE, as they of all peoples/nations were chosen by God to be in Covenant with Him...

You do NOT see satan really being bound, for if he was, there would be the Messianic age right here and now!

When one interprets Scripture such as Matthew 24 or Acts 2 (Joel's prophecy) so figuratively as to have already have happened, he must at least give credence to a view that it will soon happen if someone can take the same scriptures, or some of them, and put them into a historical context.

Not that I necessarily agree with him, but John Hagee has done such a thing with a novel interpretation of Acts 2. It is worth listening to.

I've read four blood moons and the only scenario I get from his interpretation scares the holy stuffings out of me. He states that he is positive that the Jews are definitely going to restore the temple. Brethren hold on to your hats here is the kicker him and his radical believing group are helping to foot the bill and getting many to contribute to make it happen. Christian radicals are helping to rebuild the temple that was destroyed by Titus under Gods direction in 70 AD predicted by Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ replaced that temple.! Restore the Old Covenant? These fools and I don't say that lightly are going to start WWIII all in the name of Jesus Christ. How much BLOODSHED has been caused though out history in the name of Christ? If I'm not mistaken and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, is not the land the Jews want to build the temple on owned by Islam? Is not that the Dome of The Rock? I'm not privy to all this info just passing on what I read. I go to Jesus Christ my temple for my worship being a Spiritual Israelite! AMEN!... What are your thoughts?

So Hagee and his buddies are trying to usher in the Great Tribulation so God can punish the Jews!

It is meant to scare (and excite). We ought to be ready for his coming.
Paul said: "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persaude men."
He states that he is positive that the Jews are definitely going to restore the temple.
So it says in man places in the Bible. There must be a Temple for the Antichrist to enter in, in the midst of Tribulation. Remember "the abomination of desolation," mentioned in Dan.9:24-27, and again in Mat.24, etc. how in the midst of The Great Tribulation the Antichrist will break the covenant he has made with the Jews and desecrate the Temple. That is yet to come. Therefore there must be a Temple for him to desecrate.
Brethren hold on to your hats here is the kicker him and his radical believing group are helping to foot the bill and getting many to contribute to make it happen.
It is well known that plans to construct a Temple have been in the works for many, many years now. Construction probably has already begun but surreptiously. The Dome of the Rock does not sit on the site of the actual site of the Temple of Solomon. Recent archeological findings have confirmed that. They have begun digging quite close however.
Christian radicals are helping to rebuild the temple that was destroyed by Titus under Gods direction in 70 AD predicted by Jesus Christ.
By Christian radicals you mean scores of various evangelical groups, who by no means are radical. They just don't believe in a covenantal theology and are as far away from preterism as one can get. If any theology can be truly called radical it is preterism. That is factual!!
Jesus Christ replaced that temple.!
The Temple will be built again. There are scores of OT references that promise us that, and NT promises as well. Just to allegorize all the Scripture away concerning these promises is nonsense.
Restore the Old Covenant?
There is no restoration of an Old Covenant. There are promises yet to be fulfilled to the Jews.
These fools and I don't say that lightly are going to start WWIII all in the name of Jesus Christ. How much BLOODSHED has been caused though out history in the name of Christ? What will cause the next war has nothing to do with the building of a Temple. It is the enemies of Israel coming against her time after time after time. Then the world sits by, when Israel must defend herself, and in typical anti-semitic fashion blame Israel for the cruelty done to Hamas and other Muslim nations while she defends her territory.

I don't agree with Hagee. I don't believe we can use astronomy to predict the coming of Christ. In fact there are many of the things that he says that I would disagree with. But there is far more I would agree with than then the nonsense a preterist or an amillennialist would put forth.

Your history doesn't add up.
When was there blood up to the horse bridle??
At what time in history was there that much blood shed?
At that time of Christ the world population was only 200 million in total.
