I use it only for research, as I do the Geneva & other older translations.

 

There's a cat named Cody Watters who's been a ruckie since he was a teen. He's founded several KJVO websites & shut them down due to lacka interest. He got married & slowed down his KJVO internet activity, but he's on Facebook, & he still seemsta believe Ruckman was the 13th apostle. He's likely in his mid-20s now.

 

There are some younger people who are KJV-only, and usually it is because they have been taught human non-scriptural KJV-only teaching in their church or have read KJV-only books.

 

Probably due to them being exposed to just as a translation all of their years in that church, or at home!

 

True, as there is nothing that the Holy Spirit would be doing once we were saved to make us Kjvo! Would be due to the environment and culture regarding the Kjv was raised up in and around!

 

They use the (Joseph) Smith KJV. I've never read one, but i know it has some alterations from the regular KJV. Perhaps Logos 1560 or someone else here can enlighten us on the differences.

I know the Jehovah Witnesses change John 1:1 to read: ..."In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was A god....." Insinuating their belief that we can become gods. Don't know if the Mormons change anything in the KJV, but with respect to scripture, Mormons differ from traditional Christian groups in that they accept extra books in their canon. In addition to the King James Version of the Bible, they add the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

The main and much larger group of Mormons that accept Brigham Young as their leader after Joseph Smith do not use the Joseph Smith "inspired" edition of the KJV. They use a typical KJV which they sometimes print with cross references to other Mormon books or even combined with those books.
They have a regular KJV printed together with the Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price that does sometimes refer to Joseph Smith's translation in the footnotes and in an appendix.

Only a much smaller group of Mormons (who follow only Joseph Smith) in Missouri use the Joseph Smith revision of the KJV.

 

Yes, but they see that the Kjv also had errors, which the Joseph Smith"revised edition" "corrected!"

pretty much all christian cults accept only the Kjv, but also they see it as inferior to their leaders books, such as lds/JW/Sda etc!

Yes, and then they made up their own NWT, which put their heresies right into the text, same way sda now has done that in their pwn translation!
