Where is the racism and do you realize how absurd your charge is? I would bet that in Maricopa County where Mr. Arpaio was the sheriff, at least half of his deputies (if not more) were Hispanic and most likely Hispanic of Mexican heritage. Good grief, get a grip!

'Bout as much chance as a squirrel knocking on your door collecting $ for the local hunt club!!

Contempt of a Federal Court is not a small thing. I thought you were a law and order man. I see you are only a selective law and order person. You liberal!
So you would say that doing the morally right thing,a s trump did here, was the wrong thing to do?

As I believe Trump's pardon is a tacit justification of racism I do not see it as a moral decision, but an immoral one. It also shows that Trump, and apparently you, have no regard for a court decision you do not agree with. That shows neither of you really believe in law and order.

Blessings.

I don't think I have ever seen so much hypocrisy packed into such a short paragraph.

How was he racist again? Merely by trying to keep illegal aliens out of the USA?

Because the sheriff is a racist. He profiled people and violated a court order telling him to stop this racists policy. Even when pursueing illegal aliens the laws in that area are to be followed. If they are not., then the law means noting from day to day and from group to group.

By pardoning him Trump has shown that he is not really concerned what racist and white supremacist do and he will probably pardon them. This is the message sent.

And you do know, don't you, that the sheriff staged an assassination attempt on his life and had a young man thrown in jail for four years. Proven innocent he, well the tax payers, were forced to pay the young man over 1 million for his false arrest.

Trump actually operated within the balance of powers established in The Constitution. The founders obviously saw the courts as the weaker branch. The earlier Presidents kicked the courts around like a red headed step child. Trump did not even do that. He simply used a power expressly given him. No Gray area. Perfect example of his "balancing the powers."
