Then stop watching Fox News, Joseph, if this bothers you so much.
Following this supremely intelligent burst of logic, let all us Christians just turn off all connection with any source of contact outside our own family & church! Perhaps if we just don't listen to ABC, CBS etc we won't be bothered by their anti-(whatever values they trash for you), and all will be hunky-dory!I say that if it is that upsetting to you, you might consider turning your TV to OFF, or change the channel.
Nope. But if one is going to have a conniption every time that something appears in the media that he/she doesn't like then he/she is going to be in constant emotional turmoil and that is not healthy in the long run.Originally posted by just-want-peace:
Seriously, do you people think that just ignoring a problem like this is going to solve it?

One might almost believe that you agree with Feiler and Spong, given the way you like to demonize me. I guess these things just don't bother you as much as being forced to wear a seatbelt:Originally posted by KenH:

These are brother the views of the current administration in Washington and Fox News is one of thier official propaganda organs.Originally posted by Joseph_Botwinick:
Has anyone seen the Fox News Specials the past few days on Religion? This is the second interview in two days I have seen where Fox News has attacked Christianity. Among the attacks are:
1. This first one is the major attack: Those who believe in an exclusive view of Christianity (There is only one God and there is no other way to God except through Jesus) are fundamentalists extremists who don't speak for Christianity, and are as bad as Islamic extremists. I just heard the latest installment of this attack about 5 minutes ago with Major Garretts interview with some guy named Feiller. They talked about this idea as if it is a common view in Christianity, and that the belief in Christ alone is in fact, commonly recognized as the most dangerous idea of Christianity.
2. The Second one is the idea that homosexuality is ok.
3. The idea that religious pluralism and ecumenicalism (all roads lead to God universalism) is taught in the Bible.
It is inevitable that every year, the major news networks try to redefine Christianity for us using their so called experts. I, for one, am sick of it. I wish they would stick with what they are good at: reporting the news and doing political commentary, and close their mouths about religion.
What say you?
