You are the one who called it "evil". In fact, you said it was the lesser of two.You have an interesting twist on the definition of sin being a political entity. Can you define this evil GOP, or does it just involve money, which is not evil, but how we as humans love it? If the GOP is evil, because it threatens your love of money, that seems like a good thing, not an evil thing. All the evil I have seen accused of the GOP is they do not know how to handle money. Perhaps that is a good thing, no?
Have you ever considered Jesus' "sermon on the plain" or "sermon on the mount"?Because, they are going to pay, one way or the other. I am either getting my stuff back or getting satisfaction, one way or the other.
So your claim is that the DNC is seeking to follow the morality of Christianity. I have never considered that, but you may be right. I just always considered the DNC to be valueless. This comparison to Julian applies to the Dems. But they take it even further, claiming the sef-righteous standards they promote are Christian when they are anything but. Christians buying into that are being far more misled, and the world as well.
The world attempting to imitate Christian charity is just that, an attempt in order to justify themselves or gain followers. However, the Dems would have people believe that their own attempts at "good" are imitating Christian principles. Their so-called "good" is nothing of the sort, yet they condemn Christians for not joining them in upholding that wickedness.
No, not follow, not at all, but rather redefine. The Dems are promoting their "good" as if it were according to Christian principles. They are attempting to redefine what Christian morality is. The world may well fall for that, as they are clueless anyway. But even supposed Christians are falling for that, and we see its effects in the churches. When the pastor marries her girlfriend, perhaps you'll better understand. If not, then maybe when the effeminate youth pastor marries your eight-year-old grandson. So your claim is that the DNC is seeking to follow the morality of Christianity. It’s posts like this that make me wonder if we really have moderators or just enablers. Troll time. Posts like this make anything else you ever say........irrelevant.
I see. But Julian wrote that the Greek pagans needed to copy the Christians to gain converts. No, not follow, not at all, but rather redefine. Let me to the chase...I believe the economy is better than under Obama. Whether or not the economy is better, I am a "values voter". Issues like putting conservative judges on the courts, standing against abortion, etc. are far more important than money. Trump is a strong advocate for the causes that are important to me. Biden is pro-abortion and very liberal, so I cannot ever support him nor anyone like him.Let me cut to the chase.... did he make me or save me any money?
Well, perhaps because you are innocent as a dove, but not yet wise as a serpent. As I said, they are taking it much further, by attempting to redefine Christian morality. They aren't just trying to imitate Christian morality, but saying their immorality is Christian morality and then applying that. Those who are ignorant or unthinking actually believe that this immorality is Christian morality. They then ridiculously accuse Christians of not following their own morality. Then you get someone like Beth Moore repenting of not following their redefinition of Christian morality.I see. But Julian wrote that the Greek pagans needed to copy the Christians to gain converts.
I do not see how the DNC is copying the Christians.
I guess I am missing your point.
I must say that I am impressed you have such a famous ancestor. I will also admit that while I admire Lincoln, I am not as familiar with the politics surrounding the Civil War as I should be.Did he now... my ancestor was the president of Confederate states. He would tell you a different story. Davis begged Lincoln to speak to them about saving the Union and Lincoln refused to see him. Ole Abe wanted a war cause he thought the south was outmatched. What did that cost in lives, property loss, and sore feelings even now. I can go on but in my studies of American history... the guy was a screw up.
Biden is a Roman Catholic so how could he be pro abortion?Let me to the chase...I believe the economy is better than under Obama. Whether or not the economy is better, I am a "values voter". You think or you know?I must say that I am impressed you have such a famous ancestor. I will also admit that while I admire Lincoln, I am not as familiar with the politics surrounding the Civil War as I should be.
Having said that, here's the history that I learned. I remember Lincoln saying something like "if I could save the union by freeing all slaves, I would; if I could save the union by freeing half the slaves, I would; if I could save the union by not freeing any slaves, I would". To Lincoln, saving the Union was of the highest importance. I believe Lincoln did everything he could to avoid war.
Yep. Jesus also said the time to own a sword would come.Have you ever considered Jesus' "sermon on the plain" or "sermon on the mount"?
Earlier, SavedByGrace said the following:Define that... what do you mean next?
My response is what you are responding to. Obviously the Lord does not stop every case of corruption. This is a very weak argument. Is the Lord no longer Almighty? Could He not have stopped the alleged corruption. You guys are TOO PROUD like Trump to admit it is OVER!
Because he is pro abortion.Biden is a Roman Catholic so how could he be pro abortion?
I see them as redefining morality and Christianity.Well, perhaps because you are innocent as a dove, but not yet wise as a serpent. No offense intended against your family, but I am absolutely certain Lincoln did everything within his power to keep the Union together. You think or you know?

Just my opinion, but I think Trump is going to stay active in the political arena in some way. He may possibly start another party, or do his best to change the current Republican Party. He will be out of office next week, but I wouldn't count him gone just yet.Define that... what do you mean next?
Several presidents in US history have won the popular vote and lost the electoral vote. Did you have a point?More people voted for Hillary than Trump. Therefore......
