Freemasonry vs. Christianity

I would disagree in the wording. The Teachings of Freemasonry are not Racist thou some Masons are racist.

These Masons who are Racist are not following the teachings of Freemasonry

Just as they would be in Chruch and every where else they go it is not Freemaosnry but the Persons own Heart that is the Problem.

Would you not Agree?

Freemasonry teaches equallity.

I have not heard any Eastern Star Women complaining about being a member of a Freemasonry Group.

There is Eastern Star for Women and Men which is a branch of Freemasonry

There is Rainbow Girls and Jobs Daughteries which is a Freemasonry Branch just for Girls

There is Demaloy for boys.

So what would you like me to ask a women about Equallity in Freemasonry. I really do not think they would disagree.

If you are talking about the Blue Lodge being Men only.

Rockramblar do you have a problem with Christian Men's Ministries that reach out to just men. Such as Promise Keepers.

My church has a Men's only Ministry called Men of Faith we also have a Women's Only Ministry called Women of Promise.

We also have Ministries for just Singles, Married, High School and Midle School.

None of the Women or Men have complained about having a group that they can go to with just Men or Women in it.

So if you are going to fuss at Freemasonry Blue Lodge for being men only you will have to apply that same rule to Churches as well.

I for one think it is a Great Ideal to have Men's only Ministry sometimes Men will have problems that they will not talk about in the presentd of women but can open up and seek help in the presents of Men.

Just me personally, I certainly don't expect everyone to share my views, but I think once two people are married, they should spend as much time together as possible. Any group, whether Masons, church, etc. that separates married couples may be causing more harm than good...just my opinion.

If Freemasonry doesn't discriminate though...why can men join the Eastern Star, but women can't join the Blue Lodge?

Men sometimes can not talk about issues in front of women even they're wives. Like for instance porn can be an issue a Man can confess to another man and receive guidance on. He may be to ashamed to talk about it in front of His wife or other women.

My opnion is that men are more willing to open up and talk to other men about these issue to seek help.

Also back to Freemasonry you said Freemaosnry discriminates against Women I should you branches of Freemaosnry that not only allow Women but have Women only groups so you claim of Discrimination is out right False.

I've only been involved in North Carolina AF&AM. There are NO women only groups in North Carolina that are recognized by the Grand Lodge of North Carolina. You were the one listing the Eastern Star earlier for women, and they allow males to join. Masons in North Carolina only allow males.

I still, just my opinion, think it is harmful to a marriage to be a member on any organization that teaches one to keep secrets from the spouse. The passwords and degree work are not to be shared with non-Masons, therefore they can not be shared with wives, at least in North Carolina.
