Oh my! Chicken fried steak, a pile of mashed 'taters, a couple ears of roasted corn on the cob, and two or three biscuits ... all smothered in sausage gravy! Mmmmmmmmmm...Originally posted by rsr:
Fried chicken is next to godliness.
But I prefer a chicken-fried steak.

Now I know what we're havin' fer supper Sunday after church! Anybody want directions?

Seriously, though ... I think when it gets to the point that we can't do something because we're overweight, that's where it begins to be wrong. I honestly don't believe in the "Twiggy" syndrome or the 'perfect figure' ... and I disagree with most height/weight guidelines put out by the so-called 'experts', but when it gets to the point that we're say .... 30 or 40 lbs or more over those guidelines, I think that's pushin' it. I'm not saying that we all need to be marathon runners, but if we can't do our normal daily activities (and maybe a little more) because our weight is 'holding us back', that's where we should draw the line.
Now ...... I'm fixin' to go chicken-fry my steak, so excuse me, please ....
