It seems appropriate for Military leaders to address insubordination. From their viewpoint, the order to get vaccinated (and boosted) is lawful, unless the service member has a medical or religious exemption. Those in the Military are routinely ordered to engage in much higher risk efforts, than being vaccinated.

It is CLEAR to me, this is another step in the consolidation of power overall. The VAST majority of our Armed Forces do not need this injection for this disease. The tactic of focusing upon the profoundly fractional number at the detriment of the macro is yet again manifest.
But we've come to expect it from leftist administrations. They have implemented policy which has cost lives and made our Forces weaker. This is but another one.
The fact there is opportunity to separate with an honorable discharge for "disobeying an order" absolutely trumpets the lack of lawfulness in the order.
Some folks are gonna be able to maximize the expensive training they received without completing their service commitment. Brilliant.

Yep. Bet some of the service Academy grads are thrilled. Got one of the most expensive educations in the nation free and don't have to serve out the contract. Yes, the Communists running our country are truly brilliant.
I was thinking of the year of pilot training which costs more than graduating from the service academies ... has a 10 year commitment.
Gonna be an opportunity to bail out on that.

of course, there aren't nearly as many pilot candidates as there are service academy graduates .... but the cost is pretty close.
if it was a legitimate threat ... sure.
this has proven to be statistically insignificant for the young and healthy ... even when infected ... which directly defines our military personnel who have less than 30 years' service.
how do you know if you've been successful when the actual threat of the virus/disease to this specific demographic is statistically NONE.

I think the opposite, the military has its interests at heart, not the individual right to life of the recruits. And to fulfill its interests, it orders our defenders into "harm's way."
