Sounds great and I am sure satan loves it. The problem it is not true. Unless a person has come to repentance and faith they are not going and they will not be those you mention as those who go are "such were some of you" people.

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you:
True believers do not brag about how worldly they can be and still claim salvation. No you are not talking about believers, but those who say Lord, Lord and hear "I never knew you."

Often we assume the person trapped in bondage to sin is still choosing it.
That little lie comes straight from the pits of hell thanks to misguided distortions and excesses in the guise of Lordship Salvation.
Unless we believe in sinless perfection, we know that we still fail to perfectly obey our Lord.
And we often equate cultural standards with God's standards. Nowhere in my Bible are Nascar and wine coolers forbidden.
And yes, a gay person, a fornicator, a liar, a thief, and any other sinner that knows they are a sinner, know it is wrong, cannot cleanse themself, and know their only hope is to rely on the righteousness of Jesus Christ WILL be in heaven.
On the other hand, a sanctimonious "I keep all the rules" type relying on their own purity rather than on Christ's won't be.
Obviously it is best to be both relying on Christ and successful in obeying Him.
But the good in the good news is that we poor failures have a Savior.

No it is a truthful response from those who believe the truth. It is not being judgmental when we tell someone what the bible says.

I believe the Bible, thank you, which tells me there are NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO NOT ONE.
Do you espouse sinless perfection, freeatlast? Do you ever revile anyone? Do you ever speak evil of them or in your heart assume they are lost?
Make no mistake--I believe there is no justification without regeneration.
But I also know the scriptures say God looks on the heart, and man looks at the outside.
I've known some supposedly saved gluttons that delight in tearing down the souls and reputations of others.
And I've known addicts that would literally give you the shirt off their back or lay down their lives for a friend.
So if we start fruit picking, it could get really ugly IN GOD'S EYES.
I'd rather be in the publican's shoes on judgement day than the Pharisee's, twice over.
So I would say to you again, I believe the Bible, not the judgemental people.
And the Bible says not one of us is righteous. None. Nada. Zilch.
Some of us are further along in the sanctification or cleaning up process than others, yes.
But none righteous.
Wade Burleson's blog has a good post showing right now about this very topic. He is much more learned and eloquent than I.

NE! Even though you may not like what God says about that it is still true. Not everyone who claims to be saved is. As far as the heart if the heart is good the deeds will be good also.You sure this isn't your alter ego?

Would you define "practices" for me. Does this mean one instance a day or maybe five instances a week. Are you the judge of what constitutes "practices?"

I practice the piano--go to it deliberately, sit down, open the music book, play. I practice piano.
Gluttony is sin, and I mightily strive to not practice it. But I assure you, there are times, church dinners, etc, where Sister Sue or someone brings those bar cookies with every chocolatey nut covered gooey goody known to mankind is in them and I slip up. I may not go through the serving line, but like this last Sunday I turn around from talking to a friend and another friend has served me one. I literally fled it this last Sunday, but sometimes I slip. I practice avoidance but my practice is not yet perfect.
See the difference?
And re the OP--show me where the lady was sinning if she has a wine cooler, or watches NASCAR, or doesn't wear a dress, or ever gets a hair cut, or uses an NIV.
Didn't see advocating drunkenness, or lying, or fornicating.
Just an honest admission that those lying, or drunken, or fornicating folks could be forgiven, but the self righteous never can be BECAUSE they cannot see themselves as sinful.
And Jesus didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners. That's the only group that ever gets saved--sinners.
Now, after He saves'em, HE cleans'em. In HIS time. In HIS way. And it isn't our business how or when HE does it.
But HE cleanses us. We have no self services heart washes.

I agree. The greatest hate we can show someone IMO, is to tell them that God loves them just as they are and to embrace whatever they are right now. I'm sorry but I don't see that in Scripture. Yes, we can tell someone who is in sin that God loves them and wants them to follow Him but there is a cross to take up as well. Following Christ isn't easy. Being indwelt with the Holy Spirit causes great anguish in the soul when we try to embrace sin. We will be causing a GREAT number of people the biggest stumble of all - to ignore the conviction of the Holy Spirit because "God loves you just as you are."
Ann - would you say that the song "Just As I Am" would not be a proper song for an invitation?
This is not a facetious question - you brought up a very interesting point.

We come to Him just as we are to not be left just as we are. This is why He draws us. In drawing is conviction of sin and need of salvation from those sins, Matthew 1:21, for He did come to save us from our sins, "and such were some of you," 1 Corinthians 6:11 &c.
The "self-esteem movement" and "self-esteem Gospel" have corrupted Biblical truth. God isn't interested in us feeling good about ourselves, but that we come to the knowledge of being lost, needing to be saved, and knowing Him.
Coming out day is nothing more than acceptance of abominable sins mixed with a false Gospel message that it is about feeling good about ones self in ones sins.

Goobly glob! This is what is true and it has nothing to do with time. It is about Who is in us.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit (practice) sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot (practice) sin, because he is born of God.
