MagneticPoles, would you offer the same liberties to someone who going the other way? That is surgery to go from man to woman?

Would it be a problem for you for such a transgendered person to use ladies facilities?

How about if a man is presurgery but planning on the jump to a woman's body?

How about if a man simply dresses as a woman to see if he might want to make the change? Would you allow the same liberties?

If not why not?

Your arguements seem to suggest that it would not be a problem for you to allow such a man to share a locker room at the YWCA with your wife, sister, daughter, mother, etc. Would it be a problem for you?

And again, it is not the subject here, nor germaine to the topic.
You cannot provide a simple honest answer? I have seen other brothers and sisters scratch their heads at your unscriptural remarks and you refuse to clear up you are of a christian denomination?

Whatever? And you want an answer to another?

You made a statement. You didn't ask me a question.

"We STILL bear some of Gods image after the fall. That why it says not to murder because you murdering someone is like doing it to Gods image."

If you don't want to answer my question you can always plead the fifth amendment.

Absolutely, their business, not mine.

I am not the one obsessed with how people "go potty" or where.

How about if a man is presurgery but planning on the jump to a woman's body?
That already happens. How would you check it? Demand proof of birth gender? Do a naughty bits check?

How about if a man simply dresses as a woman to see if he might want to make the change? Would you allow the same liberties?
There is a difference between someone who is preoperative and a crossdresser. Still, it already happens.

Bear in mind, this is not a change that is made on a whim, without counselling, both psychological and medical. And from what I have read, it isn't a pleasant experience.

Your arguements seem to suggest that it would not be a problem for you to allow such a man to share a locker room at the YWCA with your wife, sister, daughter, mother, etc. Would it be a problem for you?
I think you are really stretching here, as someone who is pre operative would not be in a communal nudity situation. The law already handles that. Post op, they are already a woman.

Would you allow a lesbian in the locker room with your female loved ones? If now, how would you stop it?

Is it the don't ask don't tell philosophy? You presumed that I was a Pastor but I am asking you what denomination you belong to...if any.
And I do not have to answer you. I have repeatedly told you that is not germaine to the topic.

Tell you what...give me your social security #, mother's maiden name, your D.O.B, and home address and I'll consider telling you.

By whatever I meant I wasn't all that interested in arguing the point with you. That's all.

I'd like to know how you interpret John 8 especially verses 3 - 12. The short version would be just fine. :)

Pharisees were trying to trap Jesus. Short enought?

Jesus stopped a lynch mob. In order for the O/T law to be followed, the guilty man would have been stoned, as well. The Pharisees were only outraged at the woman. If the guilty man was about to be stoned with her, I don't think Christ would have stopped it. That is my take.

Chastity Bono is a freak. She can get her sex changed if she wants to, but the fact that she's making a media deal out of it makes me want to puke. This is sinful rebellion, nothing more. Unrepentant. And I am rejoicing that Cher was not my mother. Be careful whom you cheer for.

On this, I agree.

BTW, the dedication line is open. Going out tonight to Chastity Bono is Dionne Warwick's "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again", followed up with Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like A Woman".

I remember Madonna in the media trying to use this passage to defend herself sinful lifestyle too.

I wasn't defending anyone's lifestyle. I just wondered what would happen if we all got together and prayed for people like this instead of condemning them for their sins what would happen.

I was always taught to hate the sin but love the sinner.

Doesn't seem all that popular today. Guess I'm not conservative enough yet.

I remember this little girl "Chastity Bono" in Sonny's arms on TV in the 70's "Sonny & Cher Show"and the audience would go" Awwwww". Sad to hear the state that she is in today.
