Has Google, the world’s most popular search engine, changed the definition of the word “fascism” to protect liberal mobs using violence to silence those who disagree with them politically? The evidence suggest they have.

You see it on signs at every protest or riot — liberals accuse President Donald Trump of being a fascist. The word’s association with Adolf Hitler and its use now is no accident, it’s meant to strike fear in people’s hearts of tyranny.

Merriam-Webster defines the word “fascism” as “a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.” The secondary definition is “a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control.”...........

...................
But if you type the word into Google, the definition they provide is quite different.

The world’s largest search engine pins fascism on the political right, not the left.

Google defines fascism as, “an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.” (emphasis added)

The secondary definition is, “(in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.”

That’s a striking difference from how the word has been defined for decades.

Ironically, the Nazi party is the "National Socialist German Workers Party." It seems that fascism and socialism go hand in hand.
Perhaps using right-wing is not useful.

It seems that the Nazis put the word Socialist in the name of their party so they could attract a demographic.

Considering the fact that Socialist Republics have murdered more than twice as many people as Fascist nations (and Fascists rightly deserve scorn), it is surprising how many people fantasize about living under socialism in our society.

Why is that? How can Americans be so ignorant of history?

Interesting. A bit like redefining 'I do not support Trump' while consistently defending him. *laugh*

That's just the way it is M.
America is not a theocracy.
Her values are not the values of the tiny sector of regenerate citizens within her porous borders.

You don't need to have a theocracy to understand history and the millions killed by socialist regimes.
It's interesting to see the spiritual powers of darkness blind minds to very apparent evil that has oppressed others and then turn evil into a romantic dream.

Agreed and I am reluctant to use this kind of verbal value designation but it seems the overall behavior of the American Progressive Leftists is anti-Christian or of the antichrist.

Fascism refers specifically to Italy under Mussolini and the word deals with the Roman symbol of a bundle of sticks with an ax in the middle bound together for strength, as you know. So fascism refers to a socialist dictatorship. More examples of fascists are the Peronist in Argentina, among who number Pope Francis. Argentina has allowed Iran to make two terrorist attacks against Jews in Buenos Aires and the attacks, the first against the Israeli embassy and the second against a Jewish center, have gone unpunished and recently a special Jewish prosecutor was murdered in Buenos Aires as he tried to bring the Argentine government to trial. Historically, Italy was allied with Germany and Italy also murdered Jews--in fact, Russia, a communist state, also has a long history of murder of the Jews. Remember that originally Russia and Germany had an alliance to divide Poland among themselves under the infamous non-aggression pact. So communism, fascism, and nazism all feed at the same trough at times.

Fascism hates communism. German fascism hated Jews and communism. Fascism tolerates and uses capitalism.

Now I ask you--Are communists on the left or right side of the political spectrum? Where do Jews typically fall on the political spectrum?

Now tell me again that fascism is leftist.

I didn't vote for him but I do support a lot of what he has done so far.

Communism has and is considered on the left. The writer of the article Rev. cited is wrong as is Rev. and others if they believe fascism is on the left.

So you are saying that the folk at Berkley are left wing. Sorry, you are wrong. Fascism is a right wing philosophy. Always has been and will continue to be do.

Please read up on political philosophy. Better yet watch this Yale University lecture.

Open Yale Courses | European Civilization, 1648-1945 | Lecture 22 - Fascists

It is from their history course, "European Civilization 1648--1945

From the introduction:

While Nazi Germany's crimes were unprecedented, Adolf Hitler himself was in many respects a typical figure. An idle youth, of seemingly mediocre talents, his political career and passionate hatreds were formed by the experience of World War I. The rise of fascism in Germany, as elsewhere, must be understood in the context of a postwar climate of resentment and instability. Germany's economic crisis, in particular, led the middle classes to support National Socialism well before any other group. This resentment would find a ready outlet in the form of increasingly persecuted minority populations, above all the Jews. In considering Nazism against the backdrop of a more general wave of extreme rightwing and fascist political sentiment, it is important to note that the policies of the Third Reich were not only known to but also endorsed by the majority of the German population.

The human gnome of sin can replicate itself from other members in the phylum into a Frankenstein of different members CTB. I suspect you know that.

CTB IMO this is going beyond partisanship. Those participating in the Berkeley riot for instance displayed a hatred for law and order itself. They are not left or right, conservative or liberal but of the antichrist, lawless.
