Fighting wars to not win and spilling U.S. blood for no reason is acceptable? Had we won the Korean war, we would not be having this discussion today.
Why in the bloody blue blazes would you fight a war you did not need to win? If it is not worth winning, it should not be fought. Carefully choose but decisively win.

You seem to simply equate winning with a civilian body count for some reason.

I never heard Trump say "right wing extremists", or "white nationalists", or "white supremacists", or "racists". He generically condemned violence, without naming the perpretators.

Why should he? Black lives matters was also there stirring up their usual brand of racist violence.

So, He condemned them all.

Makes much more sense. Just one group was not responsible.

He did mention different sides.

I don't know the full story of what happened today, but was there violence at this thing before "counter protesters" were there? Left wingers,as at Trump's inauguration, start smashing windows and setting fires without provocation. Right wingers protest, are attacked by leftists, and it's all their [rw's] fault, right? (or left?)

If it was the fault of the left, you will never hear it from the media.

Yes he did. That didn't go far enough, IMO. The guy that drove the car that killed the woman was a white nationalist.

Condemning violence from all sides committing it is a refreshing start. When he starts sympathizing with the perpetrators, you know, like the precedent that was set by the last guy, let us all know.

No, it's not over.my people are the most oppressed group in the United States. Until we get the land back you stole and until you honor your treaties, nothing is "over."

Good to know. How do you know I stole your land and didn't honor your treaties? If you want to know who stole your land, look at the Suthreners you so admire.

That would be the Federal govt. The United States government.

And the innocent white supremacists have no culpability. What a surprise. Another apologist of the KKK. I guess personal responsibility is too much to ask for.

It was more like the Northern Socialists (government control of the means of production by way of tariffs, but only in the south, of course) verses the Southern Capitalists who were not allowed to sell their cotton to France nor buy French industrial equipment due to the tariff schedule.

Northern socialists? Good grief. It is amazing to see to what lengths some people will stretch to justify their opinions. The Southerners were free to start their own factories to produce cloth and everything else. But they didn't because they preferred owning slaves and dominating the poor whites. It was very profitable. Cry me a river.

A white supremacist group released a statement saying that Trump's reaction showed he was on their side. (Note: their words not mine.)
