And you lost no respect for him when he didn't admit defeat and hung on like a spoiled child --when the only state he won was his own?

He dishonored himself. He pouted by not even showing up for the convention in his home state.
Many leading Republicans including former Republican Presidents and candidates did not show up at the national convention because they could not support a man like Trump. Doesn't that tell you anything?

Yes, it tells me they are small-minded spoiled brats. Let's see Bush 41 and 43 and Jeb! didn't come. McCain and Lindsey Graham didn't come. Looks like the cram of the crop to me. ;-)

I think you meant to type 'cream of the crop'.

Yes, two ex-presidents and one party nominee presidential candidate. I would say that's pretty high up in the party hierarchy. Plus Bush Sr. used to be chair of the GOP.

Tells me he is not bought and paid for by the establishment.

I'm sorry, did I make a personal judgment of their moral qualities? I merely said they were high up in party hierarchy.
So what have you proven? Is it significant that Establishment figures refused to come to the Convention when they aren't worthy of your respect anyway?

Did I say I didn't respect them? Sheesh, you ought to quit while you're ahead. Do you always make assumptions about others?

Who's kidding who here?
Nobody is kidding anyone. Threads go off topic all the time. That is the nature of such forums.

Nope. I have no problem for him staying in there and letting people cast votes that wish to cast votes. This idea that he or anyone else has to honor a billion dollar industry that is the GOP is ridiculous. If that is what you want to support then that is your choice.

He dishonored himself. He pouted by not even showing up for the convention in his home state.

I don't blame him for not showing up to support someone he doesn't support.

Uh sorry you are the one who interrupted this thread with personal a attack. Now when you get called on it you want to act as if it never happened and any discussion of the personal attack you made is off topic? Seems to me that is the stuff you just cannot make up.

Oh get over it. I've guffawed at the right wingnuts on this board in the past. You really can't 'make this stuff up'.

John Kasich? Heck, might as well just support Hillary Clinton. Kasich is awful.

I'd still prefer to see Rand Paul in the White House. However, he didn't win the nomination or the presidency. As a Republican, I'm inclined to support my party's candidate. Pity Kasich doesn't view things the same way.

This is a ridiculous comment. While he might not be a Ted Cruz or Rand Paul or any other far right winger that some of you fall over yourself for he is not anywhere near a Clinton.

I'm inclined to support my party's candidate.

I choose not to support billion dollar political systems personally. I doubt I would have ended up voting for Kaisich in the general election had he won. My vote would have probably still gone to Gary Johnson. However, in the field that was filled with far right, Kaisich was refreshing to me. Feel free to disagree but please enough with the hyperbole.

Yeah, right. You would prefer Gary "What is Aleppo?" Johnson.

That's what I said isn't it? You can attack me for whatever I say. At the end of the day, you voted for Trump and contributed to all this mess that is happening right now.

He was acting like a petulant child. Not a sign of maturity.

He was acting like someone who didn't want to put his support behind an actual child like Trump.
