What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And with all that money, couldnt he get it fixed?
The Orthopedic surgeon did not recommend fixing mine. He said he had better long term results by just leaving them alone. Mine eventually cleared up. I think it took 4 or 5 years before I quit having flare ups.

Getting out of bed and being able to put weight on your foot can take over 10 minutes. How is that going to work out with a D.I. ? I'll be there as soon as I can sergeant. Just shut up and quit hollering Sergeant. Hold your taters sergeant.

I had bone spurs and severe plantar fasciitis. I could lift weights, run, play football. What I could not do without having excruciating pain, stand still in one spot. Last I checked, all branches of the military do a lot of that.

How did you check if you were not in the military. What makes you think the military just stand around?

I was in the Army and I do not remember standing around. If you can play football you can be in the military. I do remember being quite busy. Standing around ... nope, doesn't happen. Other than morning formation there was no standing around.

Plantar fasciitis is easily self-cured. I have had it. It surely is not a long lasting condition if you get after it properly and that is very easy.

Of course both seem to be good excuses for draft dodgers.

Why is it that draft dodgers and people who have never been in the military are the most pro-military people in our society. Those folk have convinced me that a universal military training program would be good for our society.

I fixed mine my simply tearing it one morning. Ended up on the floor in agony. Went to the podiatrist and he simply put me in a boot for six weeks to help it heal.

No fun.

What's your argument against Trump (with facts)?

Oh, and speaking of facts. Clinton was charged with two crimes. One of perjury and one of obstruction of justice.

On his last day in office, in a plea agreement, Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license in order to avoid being charged and convicted of perjury.
Why did Bush and Cheney refuse to testify under oath before the 9/11 Commission? This wasn't a political effort but rather was trying to find out everything about 9/11 so it wouldn't happen again. In fact, Bush and Cheney only agreed to make remarks off the record to a handpicked set of people. Both recorders and pencils and paper were not allowed in the room during the private meeting. What were they trying to hide?

Reagan would have been impeached for the Iran-Contra Affair had he not already had Alzheimer's. He admitted to the crime over national TV.
The only one to make such an assertion was his radical left wing son Ron. And that assertion was disproved by his brother Michael.

Reagan left office in January 1989 and was diagnosed in 1994 when he was 83 years old.

What do Bush and Chaney have to do with Donald Trump? Are you having a problem following the discussion?

The question to you was,
What's your argument against Trump (with facts)?
I still have not seen an answer from you.

Then I corrected your false assertion that President Clinton was impeached for having an extra marital affair.

Now, care to answer the question?

You mean you never stood at attention in formation, especially in recruit training?

Selective memory!! I've never heard ANYBODY that was in any branch of service make such a comment. Then again perhaps crabby was a "special case", & never had to mingle with the grunts!!

I think Bob "it's my turn to run" Dole being a lousy candidate had something to do with Clinton getting a second term.
Bob Dole is an honorable man. He would not have brought scandal to the Oval Office. He would have been a much better President that Bill Clinton.

Other than basic training and WOCS I didn't stand around much either.

But in the two above, when the DIs thought they had something to prove a 5 minute formation could turn into 5 hours.

You misunderstand me. The military is in no means lazy. That was in no way My intent. They have formation, inspection, standing on post, etc. If you have plantar fasciitis, it is unbearable. When mine acted up the last time, I was working as a police officer. Standing at attention for 5 minutes at our assistant chiefs funeral felt like 59 hours.

Concerning plantar fascitis. I hope you did not go to a doctor. It is very curable in a few days and you can do it by yourself and it won't cost you a penny. Get a small nice round metal can, like a soup can. Sit on a chair and roll your arch over it for several minutes three or four times a day. That will take care of it. There are all kinds of vendors all over the Internet willing to sell you all kinds of shoes and other items, but you don't need them. Yes, it is painful, but it can be dealt with.

Bad advice.

Plantar fascitis is often caused by a structural issue with the foot - often, overly high arches. A good podiatrist can diagnose that issue and provide custom orthopedics that resolve that problem and several others that eventually develop, like shin splints and knee issues. I dealt with these issues all the way from my 20s to mid-40s and was told to do things like roll a can over the arch. That helps relieve the pain, but it doesn't solve the problem.

Go to a doctor!

I reject your characterization of his son (knee-jerk radical right wing example) but agree that the formal diagnosis didn't occur until later. Yes, he and his brother Michael disagreed with Ron's assessment. It was a judgement call by two people close to the President without medical expertise. Having had both my mother and aunt decline into Alzheimer's I know it's a process defined as early, middle or late. But I agree that Reagan was in the early to middle stages while in the White House.

I had this twice back in the good old days when I was a runner. Both times I was given one shot of cortisone and it immediately solved the problem. I then started rolling a tennis ball with my feet periodically and that seem to keep it from reoccurring. I also used very good running shoes suited for that problem and orthotics. Oddly enough, I was told to run on hard flat surfaces like roads rather than uneven surfaces like grass. I ran in 5M and 10K races for 15 years often training 5 miles a day for 5-6 days a week. I ran as much as 10 miles at one time. After that I jogged for another 10 years stopping at about age 50 primarily due to Achilles tendon problems.

What did Bill Clinton have to do with Trump? You first introduced comparisons into the discussion. Can't you stay on the thread.

Okay. That proves it. You are confused.

Keep dreaming. If Clinton and BHO were not removed from office, no one will be.
Let's see. Clinton was impeached because of an affair. Do you have any idea haw many presidents have done that?

What's your argument against Obama (with facts)?
