I ask why? The scriptures clearly state:
Pro 10:17    He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Pro 10:18    He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Pro 10:19    In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

People that do that I do no know why. But we need to agree to disagree despite our differences. Doing so with respect and dignity.

Sadly not a lot of people do that. Unfortunately but true! :(

Is a word in modern parlance used merely to distort truth-claims...if anyone vociferously defends a truth-claim with unreserved fervor...they will be accused of "Hate".

The word "hate" has lost it's meaning. I honestly no longer know what you mean when you use the word.

Honestly...all I can see is a few people attempting to place themselves upon a pedestal of self-righteous indignation.
I do not see how this OP or it's defenders are, in any way, purveyors of greater or more Divine wisdom than that which is posed by others....

You are taking a solid courageous stand against "hatred"...join the club...
Democrats also jumped onto the Civil-Rights Bandwagon after Republicans had been fighting for 100 years for it...

Next, I assume, you will take a courageous and hard-lined stand (despite the attacks of many phantom enemies)...against the rape of small children.

What's your point??
You are better than everyone else?
We know this...we officially concede your moral superiority above everyone else...good for you.

HoS you have problems! This faceless forum allows you to spew vitriol without showing face I seriously doubt that if we were face to face you would have said what you did. You are are not part of the solution you are part of the problem on BB. You are not taking a stand against hatred you are spreading it. If quoting scripture is taking the moral hardline then yes I take that stand. All I used was scripture. Were you condemed by it? Have you checked your fruit lately? Maybe you should take some time out and read Mathew 7.

OUB, I'm convinced the case with some here is that the later (in the evening) it gets the more intoxicated they become, which lowers inhibitions and they tend to say and do things they wouldn't when sober.

HOS has a valid point (even though I wouldn't have framed it the way he did). What do you mean by hate? It has become a term used in mere disagreement.

I don't think anyone actually hates someone else or others on the board but it could be re-phrased by using modern day slang, why are people hating on each other ? which is a figure of speech.

Just saying….This week we have seen both Calvinist and Armenians called hateful vile names if you don't believe it go and read some of the locked threads. One thread was deleted because it was so vile and hateful. What is the appearance? Just because I quote scripture I get attacked! I fail to understand? If scriptures condemn so be it. If quoting scriptures is taking the moral highroad and jumping on a band wagon then I will take that road and be on that wagon anytime.

Christ said, the world would hate me, that i cannot help. If a christian hates, that is a different story. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if you have love one for another.

Starting posts complaining about everyone else's posts only adds to the problem. And the folks who are doing all the complaining are some of the biggest offenders. If you think the post is inappropriate report it and let the mods do their job. All this thread has done is further expand the immaturity.
