This is another simple, straight forward question, and it will take some guts to answer honestly. The reason for the poll is to keep your answers, EXTREMELY confidential; unless you decide to provide some insight.

So here's the question: As a believer or unbeliever [prior to your coming to Jesus moment] committed fornication, and that includes living with some outside of wedlock?

Okay - Sherlock....

There is no hidden agenda...just an attempt to allow believers to be honest with God; themselves; and the church.

A little transperancy and candid relfection never hurt anyone, in fact, it helps to bring one closer to where God needs us to be, as it removes the facade we put up for others to see, making us see that no one on this board is without a vice or two [or three, or four, or five, or more]...

So, now you know my reasoning, let's hear yours? And remember, too much mental thinking can cause a torn muscle of the brain matter.....

Good guess....

Dude must be writing another book????

....but I am through with self-help books. I have moved on to novels. As I said in the comment to Arbo, I am just allowing those who want to, to leave some heavy baggage at the altar [which some people don't like or accept] and move on. After all, the devil can't use things hidden in our heart and memory if we confess them. In fact, confession is really good for the soul.

So, did you answer this poll, or are you just visiting in order to gather stones to cast at others??? :tonofbricks:

What I like most about this forum is that by reading the title, you are not being forced by anyone to go beyond the title page. Thanks for dropping by

If confession is to be made to other people, it seems to me that it is better to be made to those we have offended and to those we know- not in a public internet forum where people are identified by screen names and avatars.

Seems an odd discussion to me in light of rebuke levelled upon others for asking about anothers past. :wavey:

Yes, I lived with my family (brother & Mom) before I was married.

I went ahead and answered your poll, option #2. Regardless, as you know, Christ said "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28. I am guilty of that. So, the way I see it most of us are in the same boat with regard to this question, and the whole exercise is kind of odd and silly. None of us was any better than any other prior to washing of the blood.

None of these questions Dude honestly are any of your business...and to set yourself up as the evaluator of peoples conscience is just wrong. Yes Ive had one night stands with women, Ive even gotten drunk (intentionally) & yes I have lived with a woman...even got her pregnant...before I married her. Lets see what other evil activities would you like to know about.....oh, have I taken drugs? --- why yes I have. Have I ever had other gods before Him?...why yes I have. Have I made money & career & possessions into a graven image? Why yes I have. Have I taken the lords name in vain? Too many times to count! Did I keep the sabbath holy? Ah no. Have I committed adultery, ever steal, ever lie, ever covet, ever bear false witness....oh & the biggie....ever kill? Well guilty as charged & I deserve hell. But thank God, I have an advocate!!!:jesus:
