The Bible teaches us that it is appointed unto man once to die and afterwards is the judgement.
Death is death and death is final

Does you church believe in divine healing? Do you see miraculous healing on a regular basis? If not, why not? The Bible says we'll do greater works than those miraculous healings seen in New Testament times. I don't see that today, except for the purported healings in charismatic circles. Even taking into account that maybe some of those are not genuine, I believe most are. Why would anybody lie about such a thing?
If we're not seeing in our churches the kinds of miracles that happened in the New Testament churches, isn't this a dead Christianity, or at least very lacking?
Many do believe men can heal them.I've have never met any that I could believe in. Some command God to heal what is you belief on this?
I believe you are mostly right. But in the British Pentecostal evangelist Smith Wigglesworth's ministry, there were reports of people being raised from the dead.
Yeah, they are always commanding God (indirectly) and commanding demons (directly) which the NT says that we are not to do
Thats how we know your Calvinist mind-wipe miracle is false.We believe that God can still heal, but does not gift any today to do that!
I believe if one is called to the ministry of pastoral care that one has got to know how to hang in faith with people. Even if they do not get better the time in faith, hope, comfort, and prayer is greatly appreciated.I believe
1. Healing - Possible through faith and Jesus
2. Healers - No healing divinely by man.
3. Death - We all must pass through these waters
4. Faith- Is a great asset in life
5, Asking - We are encouraged to ask and hang in faith as scripture says...
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? - Luke 18:1-8
She kept coming back! Kept coming back! Kept coming back!
As long as you are not discounting (regard a possibility, fact, or person as being unworthy of consideration because it lacks credibility) the Word of God.... I agree!We are to pray w people, love people and minister to people through the Word as well as encouragement
Giod can NEVER be forced to do anything though, as we cannot use the "law of faith" tp order Him around!With God absolutely nothing is impossible.
Matthew 7
7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10“Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
12“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Satan agrees God will do nothing for anyone.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. - Matthew 11:12Giod can NEVER be forced to do anything though, as we cannot use the "law of faith" tp order Him around!
There are greater things going on. All those that Jesus healed died anyway.Does you church believe in divine healing? Do you see miraculous healing on a regular basis? If not, why not?
