Does God heal today? If yes, on what basis does God heal? Do christians have to depend only on doctors or people like t.b.joshua for healing?

Yes, but not in a showy way. And the circumstances must be right. He builds faith upon faith. I believe increasing our faith is His primary reason to miraculously heal.

Why do christians seek such healers even after seeing miracles? Why aren't they not believing Christ for healing?

Lack of faith.

Even with the laying on of hands, it is Christ doing the work. But He is increasing faith in the one healed and also in the ones laying on hands in faith. For Christ truly is the author and finisher of our faith. Fervent prayer is putting our, God given and God cultivated, faith into action. We'll never know, this side of heaven, just how many lives were changed by prayer.

Is there more focus on disproving continuationism rather than teaching about faith to be healed?
Is this why christians are seeking healers rather than faith to be healed?

You mean one's own prayer of faith in Christ's work on the cross?
James 5
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

God still heals today, as medicine, syrgeries and in a few cases direct divine healings still occur! God can choose to heal any way he wants, bujt one gifted now as a "faith healer"

Actually, the basis for God to do any miracles of healing today would be His sovereign will, for if he does not choose to do it that way, one can speak in tongues and postive confess until turn blue and pass outy!

they need to accept that God will may be for them to be blessed in that situation regardless if healed!

No! You cannot go the route of word of faith and positive confessions in regards to healing, as that is based fully upon the sovereign will of God for that individual!

Faith healed NONE, its the object of the prayer, and according to his will!

God's sovereignty works through faith for the elect.
