Egad, looks like any direction you go you'd find fishing...If it was me, I'd look for the opportunity to get in on a charter boat deal and go out on the big water. Other than that, I knooooow there'd have to be some good striper fishing around there close somewhere. :D

I sold my boat when I moved from TN to SC only to move close to Clark's Hill lake and Lake Murray. So I've been stuck on the bank.

But I can rent a boat and fish the inlets.

Never been deep sea fishing.

I've collected a few recommendations for Clark's Hill (around the dam) and Mt. Pleasant backwaters.

Now just waiting for warmer weather.

highly recommend it ... if you're not a motion sicko. If you are, disregard. Stay in the little water.

I always heard these were called "fish phones." Call 'em up with one of these and they just jump in your boat!

I want to go. At the same time I like knowing what I catch won't eat me (and actually knowing what it is I'm reeling in).

I watched a man surf fishing last year. Caught a hammerhead. Confused .

I don't want to catch a hammerhead.

Should try it. It's pretty fun. IMO bonnets are pound for pound better.
