Hillary Clinton our enemy

Eh, Cliff Kincaid is a propagandist for the rabid rightwing.

I voted for Sen. Clinton. She's a fine senator.

I hope she's a better Senator than she was First Lady.

Maybe she's found something she's good at and needs to stick with it.

Of course, I've always found it interesting that New Yorkers had to go outside the state to find someone they could elect.

Personally, I would never vote for some one to be a politician that could not make real residency requirements.

That borders upon unconstitutional - and had our ancestors had mass transit systems, a real residency would have been in the constitution.

OH MY SOUL.........I don't have to have Cliff Kincaid tell me about Mrs. Clinton. Dear Daisy, IF I WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR HER I WOULD NEVER ADMIT IT!

She's ok.

I hope so. I think she can be a fine senator, if senators can be said to be fine.

Naw, she came to us, unwooed. Guiliani probably would've won, but he got cancer and a divorce just then. The candidate the Republicans put up was useless - a junior congressman whose entire campaign consisted of, "I'm not Hillary, neener neener".

Picking a spot she thought she could win. I'm still surprised New Yorkers put up with it.

Wonder why she didn't run in her home state of Arkansas? ;)

Actually Sen. Clinton is originally from Illinois, IFRC.

In any case, I get the feeling that a lot (not all) opposition to her comes from the fact that a lot of people have trouble with a woman being intelligent and articulate.

Yes, but not politically speaking. I believe she didn't run in Arkansas because she didn't think she could win there.

The people of Arkansas knew her best just like the people of Tennessee knew Gore best and were responsible for his losing the 2000 election.

When I saw the Senator's picture on the link I knew it wasn't worth reading. Real journalists use reason and logic to present their point of view, not "cheap shot" photographic images.

The topic of posts aside, I've learned to disregard new threads by the opening poster that contain links, since the bulk of the person's OP's with links have been to crackpot blogs or tabloid sites.

I'm sure that the broken clock in this case does give the correct timetwice a day, but I'm not one to sit through 1438 minutes of garbage just for 2 minutes of reason.

HHmmm... Communist... or Nazi....

Communist.. or Nazi...

Can't we have any real choice in 2008? Why do we have to choose between the two evils...

I wonder if those who call for absolute respect for the president will post the same kind of statements on Jan 22, 2009 when she is our president?

Of course. Some of them will.

You don't expect rationality when it comes to politics, do you? ;)

No, we New Yorkers could have chosen a lame-o Republican (Lazio). Senator Clinton did her homework and campaigned well. She learned the issues and spoke to them.

At first, I was not going to vote for her (mainly because of how she handled the national healthcare thing), but because of tactics like that picture, I concluded the opposition was made up of immature jerks who wouldn't know a real issue if it bit them in the derriere -- so I chose her over them.
