I really don't understand folk's obsession with someones wealth or what taxes have been paid. It's obvious Trump is a millionaire, so what? And if he managed to take advantage of the Congresses tax monstrosity and paid zero taxes he is the best candidate as far as smarts goes. It would be really great if he managed to even get a tax credit refund!

He's trying to become the President of the United States. He is proposing tax policy. By seeing his taxes we could get a glimpse of how he handles his own taxes. This would be a good clue as to how he would handle tax issues for the rest of the nation.

It would take a lot of explaining, all of it in vain I'm afraid, for Trump to convince the average American why it was a good thing that he made $600 million last year and paid no taxes.

His tax returns would also give us an idea of how charitable he is and what charities are important to him.

BTW, he's already said he would not put his assets in a blind trust, but would have his children actively manage his businesses. That is a recipe for a conflict of interest.

I think we already have a good idea. Pay as little tax as possible and stop wasting what is brought in. Sounds simple and good to me.

Hillary said, "the next 40 days will determine the next 40 years". You folks who are "Never Trumpers" ought to let that sink in a bit.

Hillary also said this election is not just a vote for the President but rather a vote for the issues. Finally Hillary says something among the mountain of lies that is a little piece (however a HUGE detail) of truth. Of course then she went on and on with lies about climate change and women's health care rights (in case you haven't caught on yet, that is nicey code for slaughtering babies in the womb).

When Hillary gets elected and we have a Supreme Court that finishes off any moral values Christians are allowed to stand up for, I don't want to see threads on here by 'NeverTrumpers' whinning about the direction the country has gone.

Christian are doing that on their own, by ignoring their morals and conscience to vote for a man like Trump. What you are basically saying is that to continue to fight for the moral high ground we have to cede away all the moral high ground, which makes no sense at all.
So again I ask the question what does a Republican candidate have to stand for before Christians will say that is far enough, because from what I have seen it doesn't seem like there is anything that a Republcian can do to earn the censure of evangelicals, as long as they are promised power.

This elections has shown that is a resounding yes we will support you even though you support of all those things, so where is the line if not where all the culture wars were fought for the last 30 years?

Would love to hear the answer to this.

If I were a lost person and a Christian (who I know supported Trump or had a Trump sign in their yard or bumper sticker on their car) tried to tell me about Jesus, I'd tell them to go sell their lies somewhere else.

What on earth could they possibly say to a lost person about the need for repentance while supporting a man who feels he doesn't need to ask for forgiveness?

Knowing the things you listed and knowing who Trump is and what he has said and done, it becomes More difficult for me everyday to believe that Christians would support him.

Wow, what a detailed policy! What minutiae.

So, guaranteed mandatory maternity leave for new mothers. New spending program.
Build new roads, airports, hospital, bridges. New spending program.
Build up the military. New spending program.
Build a border wall with Mexico. Oops, that's right he's gonna get Mexico to pay for that one!
Have a guaranteed health care plan for veterans, above and beyond the VA. New spending program.

I'm not voting for a "man like Trump" I'm voting to save our freedom of speech and religion from those who would take them away and leave Christians no platform to openly express our views. What you are saying is that you would forfeit the freedom we now have to openly express our views because you don't like a "man like Trump".

Basically your strategy is to win the battle by losing the war.

Bunch of running scared excuses because Christians already know that there is NOTHING that anybody can do to stop them from preaching the Gospel. The majority like you ain't sharing it now. So stop acting like you're voting to save what you don't currently utilize.[emoji57]

The strategy is the same one God commissioned us to.

If you really believed what you're saying you wouldn't be spending the bulk of your time here virtue signaling. You'd be spending the bulk of your time actually doing what you keep telling others they should be doing.

Yeah you just can't trust those guys who have the sniffles :Rolleyes. Now who is fear-mongering?

Right now, there is one SCOTUS seat up - formerly held by a conservative.
If Hillary wins - the Court will be liberal 5-4
With 2-4 more seats in the next 4 years - we could easily see a 6-3 court - and that will determine our future for the next 50 years or so.

And then there are the scores of lower federal court seats.....

Some folks sadly cannot see the forest from the trees. Even if it was an ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE that abortions would be ended by electing a Trump type, they still wouldn't be able to get past having a sinner being the one to end it.

Oh stop with the fear mongering.[emoji57] For folks who weren't supposed to have been given a spirit of fear, y'all GOPers sure do get scared a lot about non-eternal stuff.

It's the same cadre of folks who settle up and down that we'd never survive 8 years of Obama.

Hillary Clinton is at least sane. Donald Trump has nuclear war written all over his narcissistic face.

In comparison to Donald Trump, she's the epitome of stability. And again, the GOP is supporting Trump so there simply is no ground to question anyone else's immorality while supporting a narcissistic, adultering, rejecting of Jesus Christ, crazy man.

She supports child murder.

In a new interview today, pro-abortion presidential candidate Hillary Clinton couldn’t have made her radical abortion views more clear. Clinton said unborn children simply do not have any Constitutional rights, which would include the right to life.

“The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights,” Clinton said, adding that “the woman’s right to make decisions” is the be all and end all when it comes to abortion.

Please note that she believes the unborn is a "person".

She supports child murder.

He supports rejecting Christ. She can be redeemed even if she continues in her support of child murder. He can't be if he continues to reject Christ.

Please note that she believes the unborn is a "person".

So is it worse to believe killing an unborn person is okay, or to believe that you don't have to ask for forgiveness and encouraging others to continue in a vein that damns them to hell?

Zaac, please come to your senses brother.

If you don't like Trump or you hate him - fine - but you are giving the impression that you put your stamp of approval on murder.

I know you don't but that's the image you are projecting with this line of reasoning.

And you know nothing can be further from the truth as I have spoken CONSISTENTLY against the taking of any life.

On the other hand, Christians are giving the impression that they don't care that folks are going to hell and that Christians are helping with the stumbling blocks to get them there.
