    Diane,
Your picture looks so purty and prim, but I think you may have pulled a switcheroo at the photo dept.! Warts and toenails fungus??? EEEEWWWWWww. [IMG] (Just jokin')

These are good, yall! I have some lin-ee-mint that an old lady gave me and she said it works on just about everything! Dont know whats in there, sho does stank, but it does work!

My husband uses Dr Tichenor's for everything mouth/throat related. A deacon here told him about it, and now lots of the men have their little bottle around cold season. Hmmm.

I use Desitin on almost any skin discomfort. It's messy but it heals scrapes and rashes pretty quickly!

Diane why didn't I ever think of that? Thanks, I'll make sure to try that.

i think witch hazel would make it feel batter, dont know about cure. Desitin probably would work! Great idea, Diane!

I know when a munchkin gets bobo and needs ice, I get a bag of prozen peas outta the freezer. They think its funny, and it molds to their body part that needs it.

What do you do for an over-inflated ego? Let me know and I'll PM a certain young lady.

TC, will you get the one advertised on t.v. or go to a podiatrist? Mine is very small. Smaller than a pencil eraser, but feels deep. ???

About the peroxide, how bad does it taste? I've wanted to try it but have a fear of putting nasty-tasting stuff in my mouth.

Hi Lucy, I've used it straight from the bottle(into a cup) and it doesn't ahve a big taste and isn't bad at all, not attractive mind you, but not diegusting either. I also have a fear of new, unusual or different(fear of it being nasty) flavors in my mouth, no matter if is is food or what it is. Go ahead and use if it you want to but mix it with water to get a more gentle taste of it at first. I always, sooner or later get gum problems no matter what, so I use it a lot. Just don't swallow, not sure what happens then.

I use lavender drops (real essential oil) for headaches. Just a drop or 2 on the temple really helps, or bathing with lavender drops or real lavender soap. Drinking lots of orange juice really helps me with severe headaches also.

I use evening primrose oil capsules for PMS. After feeling like I am about to "lose it", I feel calm within 30 minutes after taking. I double up during these times.

Bananas are wonderful for leg cramps. I used to get them often, but not much anymore when I eat plenty of bananas. They are loaded with magnesium, which one is usually lacking when they suffer with leg cramps.

I use the vinegar in my laundry too. I also use it for cleaning.

Baking soda will shine up stainless steel like new! It will also shine up your teeth, as well as salt! (Don't use the salt too often though!)

Hydrogen peroxide will take blood out of clothes. Hair spray or rubbing alcohol will take out ball point pen stains.

No need it twisting and waiting...just get a real sharp pair of scissors and snip it off. I had about 4 of them on my neck, and I did this. It didn't hurt bad at all, bandaided a piece of cotton on it and done with it. [IMG]

Thanks, donnA. So it's definitely safe? I really want to give it a try for the whitening effect.

Have you tried brushing with baking soda? It doesn't protect your teeth from cavities, but it does clear up a lot of gum problems (teeth can be replaced but if you lose your gums you got big trouble). It tastes very salty, but it makes your rinsing water sweet by contrast.

I don't recall if I have or not Daisy. I think only in toothpaste. I'll try it though. Gotta be good for cleaning too.

I have those nasty things all over! I have tried everything, including the bandaid and the twisting thing, and they're still there and bigger than ever! I even have one in my hair behind my left ear. I was told they could burn them off, but that it would cost me a "pretty penny". I don't have one!

    AVL,

Get some sharp scissors and snip those things off, there is no use in paying good money to a doctor to do that when you can do it yourself.
