Yet another off topic disparagement, and I did not advocate irrational bible study, but SBG did in post#58.
think about it this way;
Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Hebrews 4:15 KJVS
[15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

How could I have any understanding of any scripture if I could not read it logically and rationally? Are you saying you agree with me, or what?

No I'm saying to think about the verse I posted. What it says should tell you something important

No one can think about any verse, if they cannot use logic and reason. Pretty simple really!!

Here is the SBG view that is hogwash:
"human logic cannot be used to understand our Gread God, or the Incarnate Lord Jesus Christ, The God-Man!"

The bible repeatedly says "for this reason" indicating a logical progression, this caused or contributed or affected that. However, those pushing false doctrine know their bogus views do not fit with scripture, so they disavow analysis.
Acts of the Apostles 26:23
that the Christ was to suffer, and that by reason of His resurrection from the dead He would be the first to proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

How about a different spin on this never ending debate. The devil tempted Jesus to see if he could/would sin. He didn't even know; how can we?

How about another spin on this topic. Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness to see if He could/would sin. If he doesn't know how can we. Enough said?
