If you really believe that, then the Holy Spirit can't be grieved when He can just leave, but He can't which is why we are warned not to grieve Him.
the Holy Spirit never leaves us, as he has sealed us unto the day of the resurrection and our glorification, but we can act as if he is no longer with us, by grieving and sinning against Him!
