Beam me up scotty! Oh...I see you are from Detroit....well if you go outside watch out for the Islamic Jihad's "religion of peace" there....I heard there is a lot of that there too (or have I been mis-informed?)
Bro.Greg
Largest collection of Muslims outside of the Middle east!
At least.....
GO TIGERS!
How do I view them?
Generally on a TV screen in various quality levels of still shots and video imagery.
Actually, I think Yeshua asked a legitimate question and we can have a good debate over it if we get some more serious responses here. I DO believe there are such things as bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster, and I think as Christians, we SHOULD examine these thoughtfully in light of our beliefs in creation.
There are many unknown species of life still being "discovered" by modern scientists. Every year more plants, insects, and animals are found that we didn't know existed, or thought were extinct.
I believe bigfoot is a species of ape (gigantopithecus) and the Loch Ness Monster is a plesiosaur.
Bro. Greg, I understand your point, but here's another way to look at it.
Satan WANTS people to believe the theory of evolution, to believe we all just happened by chance instead of by God's intelligent design. Of COURSE the world will make fun of any legitimate attempts to find what they believe died out millions and millions of years ago. Can you imagine what it would do to their theory if we found that dinosaurs do still exist?
There are Christian scientists who have made discoveries, only to be laughed at and mocked by the media and the ungodly. These anti-God folks do not want "evidence" of a divine creator and they will do everything to downplay any attempt or any evidence found that disproves their theory.
The Bible tells us that creation points to God. Those who study true science know that all we see is not a product of chance. This is a way to help win the lost, by showing them, through creation, who God is. It doesn't need to distract from the great commission.
The coelacanths, which are related to lungfishes and tetrapods, were believed to have been extinct since the end of the Cretaceous period. More closely related to tetrapods than even the ray-finned fish, coelacanths were considered to be transitional species between fish and tetrapods until the first Latimeria specimen was found off the east coast of South Africa, off the Chalumna River (now Tyolomnqa) in 1938 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coelacanth
Life is found near deep ocean vents
In 1977 scientists discovered that at the deepest parts of the ocean, which people had long imagined to be dark, cold, and lifeless, was a strange environment teeming with life. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aso/databank/entries/do77li.html
