HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT PRAY FOR US WHEN WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO PRAY? A difficult question for unbelievers.
I don't think the bible ever says that the Spirit prays for us. It says He makes intercession for us with goranings that canot be uttered.

HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT PRAY FOR US WHEN WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO PRAY? A difficult question for unbelievers.
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for a we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with grownings which cannot be uttered."I don't think the bible ever says that the Spirit prays for us. It says He makes intercession for us with goranings that canot be uttered.
How did you get that out of all my post? I have said over and over I do not see this as tongues! I was just trying to see if everyone here believed that the Holy Spirit would make intercession for us without us knowing what or how he prayed/ interceded.
That really is a simple question! If you will just get tongues out of your head concerning this verse!
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for a we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with grownings which cannot be uttered."
Intercession is ?????? Standing in our place in prayer!

NO!!! I am just saying that I do not see Rom. 8 speaking of tongues! So you are now agreeing with us, and the Bible, that there is no personal prayer tongue kanguagegiven to us by the HS?
You added that! It does not say that in Romans 8. It says the Spirit prayers Itself/himself! Not us in any form or fashion other than groaning! In our inner man, as he forms what we are to say and ask for God, but we ask/speak to god per His direction/guiding in our natural tongue!

I put both because someone questioned the KJV...The KJV says itself..another one says himself!Which one is the HS, it or he?

I believe the Holy Spirit is a person!
Either way it still says the same thing! The Spirit intercedes what we can not utter!
How many times do I have to tell you...I did not say it was tongues to God! But the scriptures does not say anything about the inner man praying! In our inner man, NOT as a tongue to God!

Well then Who is He praying too since He is God? Does the Trinity pray to one another when they are together? I would also point out it does not say Himself, but itself.
