Yes, when it comes to an argument morphing into something else entirely different, Darrell C is very progressive.
I addressed the view that repentance was necessary.
That's not being progressive, that's simply entering the conversation and dealing with what is being said.
So what is a charge of being "clueless" towards someone who has an extensive history working for the cause of Education?
And that is the problem with Liberals, they do not want to discuss things, they simply want to tell you what it is you must believe. Well, that's great, champion the people who, when they don't get their way...riot. Then give me the passage/s that make that Christian effort.
I'll say it again:
No, we have just moved on to Christian versus Liberal (or whatever any particular Political Religionist wants to call themself).
Am I glad Trump won? Yup. Does that mean that I have turned into a Political Religionist that spends all his time worrying about it? Nope.
Time will tell if Trump will be a good President, but History shows that Obama has been bad for this Country from the perspective of the Christian. It's not a liberal/conservative issue because I have spoken with Atheists that are far more conservative than some who post here who call themselves Christians.
And here's my list again:
Today we are expected to...
Agree that someone born a man is actually a woman (the Lord made a mistake in assigning this person obviously);
Agree that the murder of infants is acceptable practice;
Agree that homosexuality is okay and the Lord is wrong on that as well;
Agree that children have no need to follow the accepted authority of adults in positions of leadership over them;
Agree that using drugs is just as safe as using alcohol (kind of like debating whether using a noose or a shotgun do one's self in, if you ask me);
Agree that protestors have the right to riot and break the law;
Agree that morality is relative;
Agree that tolerance and political correctness is defined by those in power;
Agree that great great great granpa swung from a tree.
It seems to me that expectations are not only higher but have gone off the deep end...
Now if any "Christian" here wants to defend those issues and try to make them pertain to Christianity, you let me know.
Fair enough?
God bless.
